The Hybrid's Hope Chapter 52: Searches and Concerts
LeviThe day after Tanya left, Hope and I began the long drive to Canada. After nearly having her reject me, I feel much better now that Tanya’s time with Hope seems to have helped her to settle. She hasn’t accepted me like she had before, but she isn’t actively trying to reject me either.I’m hoping that this time together, away from the packs, will bring us closer together.Because we’re driving, it takes us nearly two weeks to get to Newfoundland, Canada. Granted, we stopped along the way to see the sights which was a lot of fun. We’d gone up through the Appalachian Mountains, stopping in Great Smokey Mountains National Park, then we’d taken the Blue Ridge Parkway north, stopping along the way until we reached Shenandoah National Park. Then we’d made our way through the Poconos before stopping at Niagara Falls, which neither of us had seen. It was really special to stand there with my arms wrapped around the woman I love and watch the power of the water as it gushed over the falls.

HopeQadira and Malcolm had a great run last night. Both of them love to rough and tumble play and thankfully, Malcolm is one of the few wolves who can handle Qadira’s size and strength. It’s rare that Qadira can just be herself and not worry about hurting another wolf, but Malcolm is a strong Alpha wolf, and he gives just as much as he takes with her.
