"The Arrangement"
Tatum's POV:
It had been more than two months since that day in the bar with Luna and I'm casually sitting at the bar listening to Jack try to convince Luna once again to leave for the evening. As I listened to them go back and forth I recalled Kin's phone call just the day before. Luna was in fact the missing clan member from the Connerys and Samael had offered a huge bounty for anyone who brought her back.
My wolf swelled with anger at just the thought of Samael claiming her as his. She was mine and I would wait however long I had to to show her I wasn’t going anywhere that easily.

Luna's POV:"So how exactly are you going to help me?" I ask."Easy. We just make sure you don't get found." He replies with a grin."So that's your brilliant plan?" I ask as I glares at him from the passenger's seat."Just stick with me princess and you'll be fine." He replies."Well I've tried masking my scent already if that's what you are aiming for but it clearly didn't work." I say sarcastically."And how do you know that?" The Hybrid "Healing the Damage"
Tatum's POV:I pull into my garage and I try to lay my wandering mind to rest. I swiftly carry Luna inside and place her in my bed. I search my room for something she can wear and run across one of my old tee shirts that is now too small for me. I lift her slightly and unzip her dress pulling it off carefully. I'm just about to put my tee shirt on her when I see several scars and almost healed bruises across her chest, abdomen, and upper thighs. I inhale sharply and stumble backwards at the realization of what her words actually meant. I approach the bed again and gently touch a scar and watch it disappear under my fingers as a dull pain radiates through the tips of my fingers. The Hybrid "Afraid to Talk"
Tatum's POV:I had awoken at the first light of dawn as the soft light flickers through the brown and beige curtains hanging over the glass double doors in my room. Luna was still sleeping and seemed more at ease now and her back was facing me. I gently remove my arm out from under her and get out of bed. I move quietly around the room grabbing a pair of jeans and a black tee shirt before getting dressed and heading into the living room. I sit down on the couch and start scrolling through my phone and begin reading a few messages that have come through when I hear the sudden downpour of rain hitting the tin roof and a faint vibrating. I look towards the sound and see Luna's phone where I laid it last night on the brown end table next to me. I grab it and glance at the screen. I see several missed calls and messages from Samael and a few other numbers listed as Seth and Paul. I click the home button

Tatum's POV:I'm lying on the bed listening to the sound of the shower as the smell of my shampoo mixed with Luna’s scent begins filling up the room. Feeling myself slowly begin to lose control I get up and go into the living room to wait for her. I'm sitting on the couch reading the local paper when Luna emerges from the bedroom. She's dressed in a pair of dark denim skinny jeans and a dark brown off the shoulder sweater. Her black hair was straight and hung loosely over her fair shoulders."That's a neat trick." Tatum's POV:I feel her body tense then relax and lean into me and my wolf growls in satisfaction. I open the passenger door and hold her hand as she gets in. I go to the driver's side of the car and take one last look out at the water before getting in. It's late afternoon and the already grey sky is getting dark."So out of curiosity where did you get this car? Is it something you just snapped your fingers and made appear?" I ask Luna as I steal a glance at her."No!"She says with a laugh."It was my dad's. When I came back I found some keys in his old office and when I went to the garage it was just sitting there. My father loved sports cars. He was always tinkering with something and on the weekends we'd go to the races."She replies with a distant smile.
The Hybrid "Stop the Haunting"
Luna's POV:Tatum had already driven away by the time I started to get back into my car. Oh I need Jack's number! I suddenly remembered. I quickly turned off my car and ran inside the bar. Jack was surprised but happy to see me. Apparently Tatum had told him I wasn't feeling well. I told him my old phone had fallen in the street the night before shattering the screen and they were unable to save it or my number. We exchanged numbers again and I walked outside. As soon as I walked out the door I spotted Tatum down the street several yards away. His back is to me but there is no mistaking him. The Hybrid "Old Friend"
Luna's POV:I'm standing next to Tatum's bed looking at the shirt he's laid out for me. It's a soft grey color and thicker than the last one. I pick the shirt up and bury my face in it inhaling the masculine scent that lies within it. I hurry and dry myself off snapping my fingers to make a pair of underwear appear before slipping the soft cotton shirt over my body. I snap my fingers again and my wet hair is instantly groomed and dried in its natural wavy style. I placed the towel in the same hamper I put everything into last time then walked over to the double glass doors. The curtains were wide open and I looked out at the rain soaked world then I slowly looked up at the sky. The large pale moon was full and darted in and out of the clouds as it drew me in. I feel as if I'm in a trance when the sound of Tatum's voice snaps me back.

Luna's POV:Tatum flops down on his bed letting out another long sigh."I swear that girl is like a hurricane." Tatum says as he rubs his forehead.I take a seat next to him on the big bed making sure to keep some space between us."Um, if you need me to go with you tomorrow instead I will."
