Luna blinked several times. Her body felt utterly drained. Slowly, as her eyes fully opened, she took in her surroundings—she was in an opulent hotel room.

Luna sat in stunned silence, gazing at the lavish space around her. This was the kind of room she could never have dreamed of setting foot in, much less spending the night. She had grown up in a modest household—there was no way she could ever afford to stay in a hotel this magnificent.

Within moments, the memories of last night came flooding back. Her expression tightened in shock. Fear gripped her chest so tightly she could hardly breathe.

Tears welled up in Luna’s eyes and spilled down her cheeks. She never imagined she would lose her virginity to a man she’d never met before. She clutched the blankets, sobbing quietly.

Once she had calmed herself a little, Luna dared to glance beside her. The bed was empty. The man who had bought her was gone. Where had he gone? Had he simply left? If so, at least she felt some relief at being free of him.

“Miss?” A maid’s voice broke the silence as she stepped into the room.

Luna was startled by her presence. She quickly pulled the blanket up to cover her naked body. Even though the maid was a woman, Luna was still deeply embarrassed.

“Y-yes?” Luna answered nervously.

“Mr. Riordan asked that you freshen up. He is outside for a moment and will return soon. He wants you to be ready for him when he comes back,” the maid informed her.

Luna bit her lower lip. “M-Mr. Draco Riordan?”

“Yes, Miss. That is the full name of Mr. Riordan, who was with you last night,” the maid replied politely. “Miss, please get ready. Mr. Riordan does not like to be kept waiting.”

Luna was silent for a moment, confusion and fear written all over her face. “B-but, I was only supposed to be with Mr. Riordan for one night.”

The maid grew visibly uneasy at Luna’s response. “Miss, please just do as Mr. Riordan asks. Do not argue with him. He hates people who contradict him.”

“B-but—”

“Miss, I beg you, do what Mr. Draco Riordan wants. He will be furious if you disobey him,” the maid answered respectfully. “All right, I must go now. Please freshen up, Miss.” With that, the maid left Luna alone.

Luna’s silence spoke volumes—she was utterly bewildered. She didn’t understand why the man who had bought her was demanding she get ready. Wasn’t it agreed that he only had her for one night? Luna desperately wanted to leave, now that her “duty” was done. But she knew escape was impossible.

Luna wiped her tears. No matter how hard she cried, it wouldn’t change her life. Slowly, she got out of bed and made her way, step by painful step, toward the bathroom. She felt an intense soreness between her legs, but she forced herself to endure it.

Soon after, Luna finished her shower and changed into a dress that had been prepared for her. The yellow spaghetti-strap dress fit her body beautifully.

The door opened. Luna turned her gaze toward the entrance and saw the man who had bought her approaching. She swallowed hard. Last night, the lighting had been dim—though she could still tell he was handsome, now, in full light, he looked even more striking.

Indeed, Luna never imagined that the man who had bought her would be so handsome and imposing. Behind his cold, firm aura, he had the perfect physique, like a Greek god carved from marble.

“S-sir…” Luna bowed her head, not daring to look at Draco.

Draco regarded her coldly. “Raise your head when you speak to me.”

Luna swallowed nervously.

“Raise your head.” Draco’s voice was now a full octave sharper.

Luna trembled with fear but managed to lift her head and look at Draco.

Draco closed the distance between them. “That dress suits you.” He lifted Luna’s chin, staring into her beautiful eyes.

Luna became even more nervous, her fear intensifying as Draco’s face came so close to hers. Their lips were nearly touching. One small move from Luna, and she would be kissing him.

“S-sir, where do you want to take me?” Luna asked bravely, her gaze fragile. She was exhausted. She wanted nothing more than to escape this nightmare. If she could, she would rather not exist in this world at all.

Draco caressed her cheek roughly. “To a place where no one here will ever find you.”

Luna’s shoulders shook with fear. “B-but, you only bought me for one night. You can’t take me anywhere.”

This was insane! According to the rules, any man who bought Luna’s virginity only got her for one night. Moreover, he was forbidden from taking her away. Luna knew this because she had overheard her aunt talking to the organizers of that damned event.

Draco smirked at Luna’s words. “Unfortunately, those rules don’t apply to me, Luna.”

Luna was stunned. “W-what do you mean?”

Draco traced her lips with his finger and whispered hoarsely, “Just obey what I tell you. If you don’t, you’ll never see your share of the money.”

“I don’t want any money!” Luna retorted, fear still in her eyes.

Draco’s brow furrowed. “If you don’t want money, why did you sell yourself? Isn’t that the same as being a prostitute?”

Luna’s eyes welled up at the insult. “I-I’m not a prostitute! I told you, I’m not a prostitute!”

Luna felt as if she had fallen into a pit of fire. She would never stoop so low. Even though she came from a humble family, Luna would rather starve to death than sell her virginity.

Draco maintained his smirk. He leaned in close to Luna’s ear and whispered sharply, “To hell with your excuses. You will obey me. I hate people who dare to defy me, Luna.”

Luna paled with fear at Draco Riordan’s serious threat. Was she trapped in a nightmare? If so, she wanted to wake up immediately.

***

New York, USA.

The plane landed on a quiet runway. There were no other planes in sight—this was a private landing strip where commercial flights were not permitted.

Luna’s eyes and mouth widened as she realized she was now in a different city. Throughout the flight, her heart had been gripped by anxiety. Escape was impossible.

“How long are you going to keep sitting there?! We’ve arrived! Get out now!” Draco commanded.

Luna bit her lower lip. “S-sir, where are we?”

“Don’t ask so many questions, Luna!” Draco snapped.

Luna’s breath caught in her throat. “I-I don’t know how to undo this strap,” she said softly, fiddling with the seatbelt.

Draco sighed in frustration. Earlier, when they had boarded the plane, Luna hadn’t known how to fasten the seatbelt. Now, she didn’t know how to undo it. Draco’s patience was truly being tested. He reached over and unfastened Luna’s seatbelt, then grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the plane. Luna’s face registered shock as Draco took her hand.

Luna’s legs felt weak as Draco dragged her along. She almost lost her balance on the stairs descending from the plane, but luckily, Draco caught her small frame. Otherwise, she would have tumbled down.

Draco clicked his tongue, annoyed at Luna’s carelessness. He was about to scold her, but seeing her bury her face in his chest, he held back.

Luna was like a small kitten seeking shelter as she curled up against him. That made Draco’s anger fade. The next moment, he scooped her up in a bridal carry and strode toward a waiting car.

Luna gasped in surprise as Draco lifted her. His masculine cologne sent a shiver through her body. Her shock was brief, and she decided to surrender to his embrace.

***

A luxurious penthouse in Manhattan left Luna utterly awestruck. She entered the penthouse with Draco. The lavish furnishings and elegant design had her marveling at every detail.

This was Luna’s first time setting foot in such a luxurious penthouse. She was certain that everything inside was worth a fortune.

“Sir…” A servant greeted Draco and Luna politely as they arrived.

“Take Luna to her room,” Draco said flatly.

The servant nodded and looked at Luna. “Miss, please come with me to your room.”

Luna bit her lower lip, confused. She was utterly bewildered, but she knew she had no choice. She was trapped in a pit of fire. She followed the servant to her room, while Draco headed to his office.

“Miss, this is your room,” the servant said, showing her inside.

Luna looked around at the incredibly beautiful and grand room. The design was breathtaking. Her mouth actually hung open in surprise.

“I-is this really my room?” Luna asked softly, just to be sure.

The servant nodded. “Yes, Miss. This is your room.”

Luna bit her lower lip again. She never imagined she would get a room like this. So many questions swirled in her head, but she didn’t know who to ask.

“I’ll be going, Miss,” the servant said, preparing to leave, but Luna stopped her.

“Wait,” Luna said, looking at the servant pleadingly.

The servant turned to her. “Yes, Miss? How can I help you?”

Luna swallowed hard. “Y-yes, I need help. Can you help me?” she asked in a trembling voice.

The servant regarded her politely. “What do you need, Miss? If I can help, I will.”

Luna looked back at her. “I-I want to leave here. Can you help me escape? Please, save me. I want to get out of here.”

The servant was silent at Luna’s request. “Miss, you came here with Mr. Riordan. I’m afraid I can’t help you leave on your own. I could get in trouble. If you want to leave, you need to discuss it with Mr. Riordan. I must go now, Miss.” The servant left.

Luna sighed anxiously as the servant departed. She sat on the edge of the bed, her face clouded with worry and fear.

“What am I supposed to do now?” Luna murmured, wringing her hands.

***

Smoke curled through the air. The scent of tobacco and alcohol was thick in Draco’s study. The handsome man stood by the window, gazing at the city’s skyscrapers.

His cold expression and sharp eyes betrayed the hatred he couldn’t shake. The anger and resentment inside him burned like fire.

“Sir…” Nigel, Draco’s personal assistant, approached.

“What is it?” Draco kept his back turned, still staring out the window.

Nigel looked at him respectfully. “Sir, forgive me if I’m being forward, but how long will you keep Miss Luna here? When will you let her go?” he asked politely.

Nigel still didn’t understand his master’s intentions. It was clear at the auction that Draco was only allowed to be with Luna for one night—no more than that. Yet, his master had defied all the rules.

“Luna will stay as long as I want her to,” Draco replied coldly.

Nigel looked at him seriously. “Sir, but the organizers do not permit you to take Miss Luna away. They accepted your offer of an extra million dollars, but they only gave you one week. Any longer, and they will file a lawsuit.”

Draco smirked at Nigel’s warning. “They wouldn’t dare sue me! If they do, I’ll make sure they rot in jail. Don’t wake a sleeping lion!”

Nigel lowered his head at Draco’s response. There was nothing more he could say. When his master made a decision, it was final and could not be challenged.

Draco walked over to Nigel, his expression firm. “I will get rid of Luna when I am tired of her! Don’t ask me again how long I’ll keep her here. Do you understand, Nigel?!”

Nigel swallowed hard. “Y-yes, Sir. I understand.”

“Go! Don’t bother me!” Draco dismissed him.

Nigel quickly excused himself.

Draco looked straight ahead, his sharp eyes fierce as a faint smile played on his lips. “That girl is still very interesting to me. I won’t throw away a perfect toy before I’m done with it.”

Luna sobbed in his embrace. “Luna, you had a nightmare. I’m here. I’ll always protect you.”Her sobs quieted in Draco’s arms. “Draco, I dreamed Danny and Mireya were trying to kill our baby.”Draco hugged her tighter as she told him. The trauma from the kidnapping was clearly still there. It couldn’t just disappear overnight. Inside, Draco cursed himself for taking too long to save Luna.“That old man is in prison now, and Mireya is in a psychiatric hospital. They can’t hurt you anymore,” Draco said sincerely.Luna lifted her head from Draco’s embrace. “Danny’s in prison and Mireya’s in a psychiatric hospital?”Draco stroked her cheek. “Ye

Luna’s health gradually improved. She received the best care while in the hospital. Pregnancy brought her even more attention from Draco. Every time Luna wanted to move, Draco worried something bad might happen to her. It might seem excessive, but that was just Draco—terrified of losing someone so precious to him.“Draco, I’ve already eaten. Please don’t make me eat more. I’m full. If you force me, I’ll end up throwing up,” Luna said, pouting. Her stomach was already full, but Draco kept insisting she eat more.Draco set his plate down on the table and replied gently, “Alright, I won’t force you anymore. As long as you’re full, I’m at ease.”Luna smiled, understanding Draco’s worries. She stood up and sat on Draco’s lap. “I’ll be fine. I’ll always take care of our baby. You trust me, don’t you?”She understood Draco’s anxiety. He had lost a child before, so it was only natural for him to be overprotective now. Of course, Draco didn’t want to lose another child.Luna cupped Draco’s che
