Sweet 16 Gone Wrong

When her 16th birthday arrived her parents didn’t know what to get her. They ended up asking her what she wanted for her birthday, she said “I want to go out and see the world.” she looked at her parents then asked “Is that alright?” her parents weren’t as excited as she was.

“You know the rules, Anatonia. The answer to the question is a no.” Her Dad said as her face fell when she heard that her parents said no. Her parents knew it was her birthday, and they knew they said they’d never say no on her birthday.

“Tony, You know we want to say yes but it is against the law we put in place.” said her mother; or how she likes to call her; Amber even though her name is Amera.

“If you wanted to say yes, you would have.” I said.

“Tonia! That’s enough!!” Her father yelled, now very impatient. Tears were starting to fall now. “Don’t even try to be my parents anymore then!!” I scream. I stomp to my room and locked every door I knew of.

After tiring myself out I throw myself on my king size bed and cry for a very long time. When I finally stopped crying I hear a soft knock,

“Princess Anatonia? Dinner’s ready. Your parents demand you to be there since it’s your birthday. Ya hear??” said a very brave maid to come here when I’m crying.

“Tell them I am not coming out. Then come directly back to my room through the kitchens. And also do not tell my parents what you’re doing afterwards. Do I make myself clear?” I ask. The maid being very scared now replied

“Yes, But I have a maid in training. Do you mind if I bring her?” I think about it for a minute. Having two maids to put my plan into action would be very helpful.

“Yes, Now go.” I ordered. A few seconds later I hear her scurry off to tell my parents. I knew when she told my parents because I heard my father yelling at my mother stomping up the stairs. I start to fake cry.

“Leave her alone Albus. Can’t you see that she’s having a hard time. Let her have some rest and we can talk about it tomorrow.” mom said. I heard him grumble and heard footsteps down the stairs. Yes!!! Perfect, now I can put my plan into action. I sit on my bed and wait for the two maids.
