FAZER LOGINSable POV
Alpha Darius has a lot of nerve to try to set up a way to force me to accept dinner with him. What no one in this pack knows, well except my parents, but they are gone, and no one else knows, is that I have a telekinetic gift. I can control the muscles and actions of other people. It is handy when you are a warrior and why I ended up becoming lead warrior.
I made sure to use it this time with Darius. I was taking a gamble but I really don’t want him bothering me about dinner or any other kind of date. I would rather spend the rest of my life alone than to choose a chosen mate.
I’m not trying to be a bitch, but I hate having to repeat myself over and over again to Alpha Darius and other warriors in the pack. I get back to my cottage and start working on my little garden of herbs. I find it therapeutic and calming. Especially, when I’m upset like right now.
I continue working on the garden quietly. All of sudden I hear soft footsteps approaching. I look up and for the first time in a few days, I see Jake. He’s back from scouting. “Hey Jake!” I say, standing up and wiping my hands on my pants. “You’re back! That’s great!”
He smiles at me, “Hey Sable. Yeah, I’m back. I even got what Alpha Darius was asking for, and you can see I’m back safe and sound.”
“That’s awesome! Well, of course, I won’t hold you up, but how was your first experience as a scout?”
“I won’t lie, I was very scared. But it was easier than I thought.”
I was surprised when Alpha Darius sent Jake to the Winter Moon pack. I heard the alpha there has a reputation for killing intruders on the spot. Scouts tend to go on their first mission after they have trained for a couple years, at least. Then the first mission is always something easy, not something as intense and dangerous as scouting the most notorious pack in the region.
It didn’t set right with me when Alpha Darius sent Jake on this mission. But I am impressed with Jake and proud of him for accomplishing his mission. “Well, I’m glad you are back. Alpha Darius was in the training facility when I left a little while ago. Why don’t you go and see if he is still there.” I say smiling.
“Thanks Sable. See you around.”
I return to gardening and let myself get lost in thought until it starts to dark.

Darius POV
I didn’t expect Jake to come back. I sent him as a decoy so Marcus, the other scout I sent behind him, could look at the Winter Moon defenses. They are the biggest threat to my operations, and I want to eliminate the Alpha. He has no Luna or heir. If I can eliminate him, then I can take over Winter Moon and I can expand my trafficking circle with the resources from his pack. He has grown Winter Moon substantially in the last five years and if I can infiltrate the pack in the most vulnerable spot, then I can conquer the pack.
I sent Jake because he is expendable. He is of no use to me. He comes from a weak pack and has no fighting ability. If he dies, it means nothing to me. Sure, he accepted me as his Alpha and I respected him, but he complains like a little bitch all the time. I need men for warriors. There are others that have come from different packs, and they don’t cry about missing home. They adapt to Dark Flame and to me as their new Alpha. He didn’t want to fall in line with that mentality, but he also never defied me. So, I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. I don’t want other pack members to think I’m unjust. I need them to see me as a kind and respectful Alpha. It’s part of my cover. If the Elders were to catch on to what I am doing outside of agriculture, they could have me arrested, stripped of my title or killed. The pack members being happy with me and the pack is part of my cover. It would be nice to make Sable my Luna to complete the circle, but I’m still working her down.
“Jake, well done on completing your mission. What did you find?” I asked him.
“Well, Alpha Darius, I overheard patrol talking about securing the full moon route for next week. I followed behind in the shadows and mapped out the points of the route as you ordered." Jake said.
“Why were they interested in securing the full moon route, Jake?”
“Apparently, they are hearing news about pack members missing after full moon runs. They don’t know why pack members are going missing or if there is someone involved. Nor do they suspect that you have any involvement. At least, I didn’t hear either of the patrol guards mention it, sir.”
Hmm, this is new. The smaller packs are starting to report the disappearances of their pack members. I will need to be more mindful or find another way to get other pack members for the East Region. Alpha Jasper likes his harem of women, but so do his warriors. Bloodlust pack is an apt name for his pack. He pays me handsomely for the women I supply him with too.
If there are men that don’t want to acknowledge me as their Alpha but look like they could be good slaves for Alpha Jasper, I send them too. He pays me for them so far, and he hasn’t told me to stop sending them, so I will continue with how I am running things. Either way, this is supporting my pack and pack members and helping me gain the resources I need to take down Winter Moon. It’s only a matter of time before Alpha Jaxon falls, and I rise to power.
Jaxon POVI find Jett. He was the one who wanted to play dart practice. I need him to be ready. I will also have silver cuffs ready. I’m bringing two additional warriors and Matt wanted to be a part of the mission as well. Enna actually insisted on him going, so I agreed.“So, you ready to bring creepy, hypno-dude in?” Jett said.“You better aim straight, dickhead.” I tell him.“I learned how to shoot straight from my mate. She is constantly throwing her damn shoe at me.” He laughed.“She was probably trying to knock something straight in your brain.” I laughed.Matt chuckles, “Brothers.”We reach the entrance to the dungeon where Anton is waiting for us with two guards.“Anton, you know what is at stake. Help us capture this guy, and you and Diane leave to another region to live in peace.” I reminded him.“I remember, alpha.” He said. “I will do my very best. Diane and I are ready to leave.”“Good. Let’s head to the location. We need to get there early and be in position.” I said.Sa
Matt POVI’m walking down to get food for Enna. She has been emotional. We didn’t know we were pregnant. But even though we didn’t know, we feel like we lost a piece of our heart. We didn’t get a chance to be happy about the pregnancy; only heartbroken. When I get to the dining hall to get two plates of food, I see a man with alpha energy towering over one of the staff members. She looks terrified and he is yelling at her about minding her business. I growl loudly and she snaps her eyes to me, before the asshole towering her looks at me.“Get lost.” He said as he turned back to the girl.I mind link Jaxon to get to the dining hall immediately, as this asshole is being threatening towards a woman. I close the mind link and march over to this asshole. “I don’t give a fuck who you are, we don’t allow the mistreatment of women in this pack.” I snarled.I look at the girl as she is literally shaking. She is terrified beyond belief. “Go continue with your work. He will not bother you again.
Jaxon POVAfter Sable and I watch Ethan take Quitara back, I turn to Crane. “Please tell me you have some information on that asshole, Crane.”“I do. I never got to interview him. Elder Thorne did. I am starting to understand why.” Crane said.Sable looked at Crane, “Did you vet Alpha Rayan?”“Yes. I vetted Ethan and Rayan myself. Elder Thorne was helping me and brought me two candidates as well, but I told him I had two suitable and asked him for one additional candidate of the two he was recommending. He gave me Alpha Perry.”“So far, Ethan is the front-runner.” I said.“I agree.” Sable said.“The girl standing beside him just now, she is his new mate?”“Yes. She is terrified of Perry as you can see.” I replied.“Poor girl. Should we head up to your office?” Crane asked me.“Yeah. Let’s head up now. The staff took your things to your room. Same one as usual.”As we are walking inside, we see Alpha Perry storming towards us with a bloody nose. “Is this how you treat your guests? Lett
Ethan POVSo this is Alpha Perry? He looks like a prick. Spoiled heir with a superiority complex. I’m happy to knock that fucking chip off his motherfucking shoulder. I pulled Quitara behind me and this asshole just grins. If he thinks I’m challenging him, he can fucking try me.“Alpha Perry, the staff will show you to your room.” Jaxon said curtly. He snaps his attention back to Jaxon and nods curtly and follows the staff. He turns his head to get a look at Quitara again, but she is still standing behind me. Once he leaves, I look at Jaxon.“No warning?” I asked.“We barely made it back to the pack house when he got here.” Sable said. “We should have mind linked you.”“Yeah, well now he knows she is here.” I said.I need to mark Quitara. I just don’t know if she is ready yet. I hope this will convince her though. It’s the only way to keep her safe.Jaxon stepped forward, “I am assigning two guards to you. They will keep a distance but their focus will be Quitara. Stick with her as mu
Rosalie POV After I got back from Winter Moon, Alpha Claude called me to his office. “Why did Ethan renounce me?” He said angrily.“He found out the truth about what happened between us. He rejected me and then renounced his title and you as his Alpha." I said truthfully.“How did he find out, Rosalie?” He said deathly low.“I told him.” I said. “I couldn’t keep up with the lies and slipped up. Then I had to tell him the truth.”Alpha Claude got up and walked around his desk. “You slipped up?” He said grabbing my neck.“Yes.” I said calmly. Then quicker than a viper, Alpha Claude slammed me against the wall, “Do you have any idea what you have done? If word gets out that our beta left because I fucked and impregnated his mate and then forced her to terminate the pregnancy, you will be putting my position here at risk!” he growled. He’s squeezing my neck and I have to think fast. I don’t want to lie anymore, but Alpha Jaxon gave me a task. I want to help. “We can say…I…rejected…him…”
Sable POVAfter a little while of discussing our plans, Matt leaves to be with Enna. I still can’t believe that Jaxon called him. Seriously, Matt and Enna need each other right now.Matt was insistent though. He wanted to be with us to discuss the plans. He said he would come back to the office when we were ready to discuss everything with Crane. Plus, we need updates from Crane regarding the reports. As I’m walking with Jaxon to the pack hospital for my pre-natal checkup, we run into Quitara. She is by herself and she looks kind of nervous.“Quitara, is everything okay?” I asked her.Her eyes look tight with worry. “Yes, Luna. Ethan is in the training facility, but my nerves are on edge too. I’m not much of a fighter and I was feeling suffocated in that building, so I came out for fresh air.” She said.Jaxon raised an eyebrow, “You should stick with Ethan, Quitara.”“I know, Alpha. It’s just…we are not members of the pack. I understand why we aren’t, because we might be leaving, but
