Chapter 42: Hunt

“So what exactly are we doing right now?” she asked, watching all the people cheer and gather around.

“We’re going on the traditional animal hunt. The Luna and the Alpha hunt together with the pack and the kills that they caught will be later cooked and served for all to enjoy. It's more like a bonding experience,” he said, making Vevina frown.

“I would have liked it better if we could have gone on a hunting spree of humans instead of innocent animals,” she said, hearing a few coughs around her as she watched a few people sputter on their drinks.

They must have been listening in on their conversation to have reacted that way.

‘If you continue to shock them with words like that then they just might start fearing you,’ he said in her mind pulling her into a hug. ‘Intrusive thoughts should be kept away from them. There are children listening to you too.’

‘Ah fuck, its going to take me some time to realize that every word that I speak can be heard by a hundred people around me,’ she said
