Doubts and Confusions

“ Hayden.. please answer the fucking call!” I cursed loudly at myself and slammed my forehead in the wall feeling nervous because of what Fajardo said. I am still in his office waiting for him to confirm the facts behind the sudden call that he just received. 

My heart aches about the thought of someone dying outside our new house but it aches more because I feel scared knowing that it might be my husband.

I've been contacting him for 2 hours now but he isn’t picking up the call. I even called the hospital to ask if he is in their just doing his job, breathing and I am just being paranoid but it didn’t turned out well because he doesn’t attend his schedule for today.

Fajardo looked at me before hugging me because he saw how my eyes formed from tears when I saw how worried his eyes are.

“I talked to the uh- officer that is in the scene right now…. uhmm...” he nervously said before looking outside as if avoiding my teary eyes.
