Scene 28 : Strange Combination
Arthur sat back behind his desk. He did not remember how the process of their conversation ended. All Arthur remembered was Lilian's blue eyes.
Even though Arthur could see a smile hanging on her chin, Lilian's eyes left a deeper impression. He felt strange and familiar with that look.
Arthur's reverie dispersed when Ian called him for a second time.
Ian knocked on the door first. He was not sure of hearing the reply from the inside and decided to push Arthur's door slowly.
Ian's brows furrowed as he saw the person he served lost in thought. It was very different from his younger sister who just came out with a cheerful expression.
