Chapter Eleven

  "Hmm.... Who is Madison?"she asked curiously.

" Oh! I forget you don't really know them by their names, but don't worry I will keep you inform"the girl chipped in excitedly.

   " Over there" she said signaling her head toward the blonde girl, who was mean to Rosy"Is Madison she is sort of like the queen bee here,there at the fountain is Tara, the other girl who insulted you she doesn't really get along with Madison, so i was quite suprise they were agreeing on something together which was insulting you"the girl said as she took a once over look at me " now that I get to look at you closely, I think they are insecure" she said.

  Rosy scoff as she stared at the said girls, Madison was indeed very beautiful and she looks like one of those ladies on a magazine while the other girl had a thick black hair with hazel eyes, her well chiseled face complemented her beauty" What could possible make them insecure about me?is not like am half as pretty as they are or even as rich as they are, they both look like high-class goddess" she said not believing the Maria girl.

 Maria gasp dramatically " Have you looked at yourself!?you are so pretty and you got your curves in the right places, can't you see you standout" she said shaking her head "the only girl I have seen standing out like you is Elizabeth Sanchez daughter of the only lady in court, she is so pretty" she said explaining to Rosy as she eye her.

Rosy blushed" that definitely not true, Madison is so pretty, look at her she is tall and elegant and her skin glow under the sun, take a look at Tara too, that one look like a goddess so what is there about me that standout when am clearly beneath them, and who the hell is Elizabeth again" she asked after disagreeing with Maria ." Oh, she is not here with us but she is part of the participant, she in the mansion closet to the castle but you will get to meet her today at the banquet"Maria said.

" You see those two" Maria ask pointing at two other girl who stood away from them chatting"those are the gooky girls here...." At the face Rosy made she quickly chipped in"atleast that what Maddie calls them, Adrianna and Lucy,they are kind of clumsy tho" Maria lean closer to her and whisper" I heard they will be going next week since they are too dirty and over there" she said pointing at the other girls" are Karen ,Tessa, Felicity and Linda. But I will advice you to keep your distance from Linda, that girl is loco" she warned. 

"Why would you say she is loco?"Rosy asked.

Maria sigh before answering her " she might act quiet and look innocent,but she is non of those. I heard she was arranged to be married to minister but she beat him up and broke all is fingers before sending him back to were he came from and just on Wednesday here she left alot of spiders in Madison room just because Madison shouted at her and called her a mutt"

Rosy look at the girl again not believing a word Maria said cause the girl in question looks frail and fragile, she was so pretty and she looks like a pixie with her rainbow colored hair. But Rosy couldn't help but send her a thumbs up internally if she really did that to Maddie cause she believe Madison deserve it." But what of if you are mistaken and she never kept the spiders in Madison's room"she asked.

"Oh darling I have got ears and eyes everywhere" Maria said with a small laugh " there was so much ruckus that day and Madison was literally jumping and screaming like a mad woman while on the other hand Linda watch crossed hand with a sneer on her face, while the others were trying to help Madison.

" Oh, so during the period what were you doing that you were able to notice the sneer on her face"Rosy asked with a raise eyebrow wandering if she had not been among the people trying to help get the spider of Madison.

  "Nothing!! Absolutely nothing!! I just sat down at the side watching the show" Maria said giggling like a psycopath.

Rosy watch her in awe but said nothing about her odd behaviour"so how are you preparing for the banquet" she asked changing the topic.

" Don't really know but I believe my maids are well prepared" she said shrugging her shoulder.

" No, I mean you... How are you preparing mentally? Are you worried?"Rosy asked.

" Good,am definitely not worried but am prepared for surprises"she said smiling.

" Apart from us being introduced are we going to do anything else"Rosy asked.

"Yeah, we will perform,like showing of our talent" she answered.

Rosy eyes widened " Damn!! I wasn't informed about that" she exclaimed.

" Oh... Sorry you know you just came, maybe that was why" Maria said

  " Oh! My, am not there yet but am already scared and nervous" Rosy said twitching her eyes" I don't even have any talent to display,my world! Am gonna disgrace myself tonight" she panicked.

"Here..." Maria took her hand in her own and squeeze it a bit trying to comfort her"Am sure when you were filling the form you wrote some of your talent on the talent section, so do one of the things you wrote down " she suggested.

" Yeah, you are right, I think am gonna do that " Rosy said wiping her hands on her clothes to clean off the sweat.

" Good,you better go rehearse or practice now since you don't have much time left"Maria said 

" True, I will leave you now" rosy said and got of from the bench smiling at her before heading inside. She got to her room taking in a deep breath, she decided to write to her mum first about her arrival before thinking of what to do.

After sometimes of practising and resting alone, she noticed she was famished as her stomach growled and she took the liberty to look out of the window, she was shocked to notice it was sun down already and she hadn't went down for lunch and no one bother to come call her or bring her food. Sighing she went to her closet and change into something simple before heading outside. She got to the hall but there was no sight of the girls, just the maid bustling about totally ignoring her. A maid walk pass her and she called but the maid ignore her letting out a hiss before walking away, her jaw dropped in suprise wandering what could have been the maid problem,before sighing and deciding to look for the kitchen herself, but before she could take another step a maid rushed toward her " ma'am am sorry about her behaviour, do you need something?" The other maid asked politely.

" Yes,I am looking for the kitchen, but what wrong with her?" Rosy ask pointing at were the first maid went through.

  " Ma'am am so sorry about that, but we were told not to respect you that you are suppose to be one of us or probably beneath us" the maid reply. 

Shocked at the reply she got" who told you that" she asked

" Miss Madison ma'am" the maid said trembling a little.

Rosy gritted her teeth, of course she should have known it was that bitch" anyways I don't need any of your respect tho" she said rolling her eye.

" This way please" the maid said not replying her as she lead her to the kitchen"ma, I will take my leave now, you can go inside" the maid said immediately they got to the door .

  " Alright thanks, and please call me Rosy" Rosy replied smiling before walking inside not waiting for the maid reply.

The kitchen was a little bit rowdy but it was so big and neat, everywhere was bustling as they all seems busy. She step forward noticing an elderly lady inspecting them as they work as she head straight to her, thinking she could be the head cook.

" Good day ma" she greeted.

" Oh my dear, you must be the girl who missed lunch" she said immediately she noticed Rosy "come"she said as she walk to one of the cabinet in the kitchen" we are so sorry we couldn't call you due to one of the madam here but i made sure I kept your food aside" she explained as she brought out a flask from the cabinet" Dear,you should be very careful here, don't cross their part cause I notices they don't really like you and I was wandering why" the woman said smiling " now that I have seen you I know why" she said.

" Who are they?" Rosy asked confused

" The girls,your fellow competitors am just telling you since I notice you are very respectful " she said" here eat quickly it is still warm and go prepare for tonight banquet, am sure your handmaids her waiting already"

Rosy had gotten to her room after her little kitchen encounter and she met her friends waiting for her. Immediately they saw her,theyvshooed her to the bathroom to shower...... And prepare her immediately.

   Now she was standing in front of a mirror staring at herself, she couldn't believe she was the same person staring right back at her .

The dress really did justice to her figure, it had tightened around her waist and flowed down just like in the picture, it sleeve got to her ankle, the ribbon was tied into a bow at her back and botton lined up in front of the bodice the difference was the colour which was sky blue in the picture but was made milky cream which she still liked and Sarah added a slit at the front up to her lap showing some part of her creamy lap but she still love it. Her thick black hair were packed into curly waves while few strands were let down to her face and a very minimal makeup was applied on her face giving her an innocent look, in all she concluded that she look like an angel as the makeup complimented her eyes making the blue prominent, she took her purse which matches with the dress and look at herself in the mirror again before making her way out as her escort came to escort her toward the castle where the banquet was being held .
