Chapter Ten

Third Person POV

      It was dawn and the sound of workers bustling outside could be heard as they walk about preparing for the day.

 Rosy's door flinged open as the girls made their way inside. Lana scoff immediately she noticed that Rosy was still sleeping, she went straight to the window and opened the curtain while Sarah made her way to rosy's bed shuffling her blanket away from her body and tapping her to wake up. " Rise and shine sweetheart,it morning already" she said as she continue shaking her. Rosy stretched out her arm and let out a loud yawn. 

"Good grief,is it morning already?" She grumbled as she used her pillow to cover her face but Lana wasn't having it,she walk up to her side grabbing the pillow and pulling her out of the bed letting her land on the floor with a loud thump.

 " My world! Are you planning to kill me?" She exclaimed as she got up from the floor and sat on her bed throwing accusing glare at Lana.

 " Good morning to you too" Alana said as she snickered.

  " Gush! What time is it, it still so early" Rosy said looking pass them to stare at the window.

 " Well it not early, it seven in the morning already so please get up, you need to prepare for the day" Sarah said with an eyeroll as she drop a package which she was holding on the bed. 

  "What is that" Rosy ask glancing at the bag curiously " and were the hell is maggie?"

  " Well Maggie is a little bit down today but she will be here later, she need some rest and this my dear" Sarah said pointing at the bag "Are some clothes I got from my shop which I think will sooth you to wear during a normal day" she said as she opened the bag " And i also brought your dress, I made few amendment which I think you will like" she said as she brought out Rosy dress setting it on a hanger across the room close to the closet. 

 " Ok, go freshen up, you need to get ready so you can join the others for breakfast " Lana said helping Rosy up from the bed.

 " Who are the others?" She ask inquisitively.

 " You need to get ready so you can join the other ladies for breakfast, so be fast, you don't wanna miss your breakfast" Sarah said shooing her to the bathroom. Immediately she was inside they got to work,tidying up the room. After they had made sure it was sparkling clean and everything was in place they sat on the couch waiting for Rosy so they could prepare her. They had tidy up the room so Maggie won't have to stress herself again, she was like a little sister to the so they pamper her at any giving opportunity they get.

   The bathroom door open after some few minute and Rosy made her way inside the room having a towel around her frame.

  " Here..... Sitdown,I need to make your hair" Lana told her as she pulled out a sit near the dressing table in front of a mirror, Rosy sat down and let Lana do her thing as she creamed her body while Sarah brought out a beautiful blue dress from the bag she brought with her and spread on the bed arranging it. 

   " No! no no" Rosy shook her head " I don't need you to cake my face with those" she said point at the makeup Lana brought out " am going to eat breakfast not a party " Rosy said refusing to get makeup on her face.

 " Alright just stay still, let me apply some lip gloss and eyeliner instead" Lana said with an eyeroll but gave into her request .

 She walked down the hall, for the first time she noticed a guard following her close behind as she made her way to the dinning while he stood by the door, she noticed they were others around not too far from them each standing stationary to one spot, the ladies were already seated and chattering among themselves as the maids set up their food. She walk closer and a maid came toward her ushering her to a seat as she pull out the chair for her, at the sound of the chair scraping the ground the girls quiet down and watch her sitdown eyeing her curiously. She muttered a low greeting and settled down.

  " And who are you?" A blonde hair girl for ask her, before she could reply another girl chipped in, raising her voice at one of the maid.

  "Hey!! we were never told a servant will be joining us today, and why the heck is she sitting down with us" she said looking at Rosy with an irritated look. Rosy's eye widened at the direct insult thrown at her as she cleared her throat. 

   " Hi,my name is Rosy and am also here for the competition" she said trying to act uneffected by their scornful glare.

 The rude girl rolled her eyes and let out an hissed " oh! She is the replacement" she said assessing her " she looks like one tho" she said as she stared at Rosy like a gum beneath her feet.

  The blonde hair girl chipped in almost immediately with an annoyed voice" And here I was thinking we only have to deal with those two bugs over there" she said as she looked across the table pointing out two girls who sat together timidly" Now they brought us a scavenger also, what were they even thinking, bringing all this dirt to the palace" she said looking at them with a scornful look while the girls bow their head in embarrassment.

  Rosy could say she had heard enough as she muttered a" stupid bitch" under her breath but the rude girl cut on what she said. 

  " You say what now?" She asked daring Rosy to repeat what she said clearly.

 Rosy sigh deciding not to make trouble on her first day with them" I said am not here to exchange meaningless banters with you girls, but am here to eat" she said as she discreetly rolled her eyes. 

  " Of course you can't even speak when we are speeking, you are far beneath us" said the rude girl

  " Yeah I know right, she needs to eat, it an opportunity for her, am sure she as never eaten something like this from were she came from" the blonde girl chipped in while the others around the table snickered.

Rosy grunted and decided to ignore them facing her food as she ate.

   " Oh, look at that, she eat like a dog" another girl who was close to the blonde girl said and they all burst out laughing but Rosy ignored them and continue with her food while they continue throwing insult at her, after a while they kept quiet and faced their food. 

  Rosy got up absentmindly and strolled out making her way to the garden.

  After a while some girls came by but she decided to sit on her own watching them as they interacted among themselves,she thought about going to her room but decided against it since she doesn't feel like staying in door. A lady made her way toward Rosy and sat beside her on the bench. 

  " Hi...." She greeted

" Hello...." Rosy replied staring at her cautiously.

   " Am Maria, I saw you are  sitted alone so I decided to come keep you company" the girl said smiling.

Rosy smiled back at her " oh!! You shouldn't have bother, I was just thinking about something, that is why am alone"

   " Don't let what they said get to you, Madison as always been a bully so ignore her and the others" she said as she squeezed rosy's hand reassuringly.
