Chapter 2.1: This was how they met

Claude entered the adjoining library, grabbed a magazine, and accidentally saw the cover of a handsome man holding a sweet, smiling noble girl. Next to them was a headline. "The good news is that the eldest son, Thomas, will marry the second daughter of the Clare family by the end of this year".

He only heard an annoying sound in his ear, and then he heard the man's voice somewhere.

"Claude, come here, what's there to be afraid of? In the future, my house will also be your house."

"I like your eyes the most. They are like two pure black pearls."

"I like you, Claude. Because you're Claude Hemsworth only for me."

"Don't worry, I will be with you forever."

But those sweet words had not disappeared. The other person's soft laughter echoed in his ears.

"A country boy. I keep him just to relieve myself."

"If someone like him can live happily, why can't we have fun?"

Dropping the magazine, Claude found his hand was shaking.

"Do you want to buy it, sir?"

The clerk was annoyed to see the magazine that he had crumpled.

"Sorry!"

He frantically paid two dollars, took away the magazine, and discreetly threw it in the trash.

It wasn't until Claude Hemsworth went to the airport to find out that his co-star was the great star, Bridget Elain, and Aaron and the other models were gathered there to discuss the rumour about Bridget. Bridget Elain was in business class, different from the boys, so the models crammed into the economy class instantly became familiar. Either way, the best way to keep a group of people of the same rank from splitting apart is to push out a fictional enemy piece.

Recently, Bridget Elain's name has skyrocketed. The movie "When is the snow falling?" in which he starred, has just won the prestigious Leone d'Oro award this year. This online game company invites him to act as an actor. The principal was indeed very wise.

But the models aren't talking about this, they're whispering that Bridget Elain's perfume is completely thanks to sacrificing the lower half of his body to serve Zelda Clare of CDEA, the number one entertainment company in the world. Moreover, Zelda Clare not only enjoyed but also dragged Bridget along to treat some rich investment ladies.

Because of her obedience, Bridget Elain received the main role and won the award.

Their laughter was so smooth that both Jason and Simon had to turn to look. Jason's face was clearly displeased, and Simon glanced over at them, his thin lips slightly raised in an arc, contemptuous of them.

"Although he is young, he is chosen by many shows to perform."

Aaron grumbled next to Claude.

When Jason finally stopped talking to Simon, he glanced at his watch, and Aaron whispered in Claude's ear again.

"Could it be that there are still other models?"

Claude shook his head. Just as the boys were preparing to board the plane, it seemed that the person Jason was waiting for had arrived.

Jason immediately took Simon over there to say hello to the other person, personally going to greet them. Aaron and the others, of course, also turned their heads to see which character was worth Jason's hustle.

That person was wearing a huge Follo navy canvas bag, a purple shirt, and comfortable black pants. Seen from a distance, his silhouette is quite tall and also slim.

As Jason talked, the man raised his hand slightly to pick up the bag that was slung over his shoulder. Claude saw that his middle finger was wearing a very special silver ring, similar to an old European silver ring. The dull silver colour enhanced his elongated, white finger, full of mystery.

"Probably the photographer. No wonder Jason likes to please him."

Aaron guessed.

"No wonder Jason likes to please him."

It wasn't until the man turned around that Claude realized he was wearing sunglasses, his bangs were very long, covering almost half of his forehead, and under his nose was a well-defined lip line. His face turned cold.

At first glance, it is impossible to say which part of this person is the most beautiful. But when all his features combine to create an extremely unique aura, it seems that his clothes are so ordinary that, if worn on him, he becomes strangely special.

And Simon, who had just made a lot of people confused, his branded clothes that covered him from head to toe became completely blurred when he stood next to the newly appeared man.

Simon seemed to be vaguely aware as well, though his expression was more modest.

Aaron clicked his tongue.

"Having that aura to go on stage, he will definitely crush all the newbies."

Aaron's voice clearly didn't mean it at all. Claude knew he was trying to speak for the other photographer to hear.

For models, the photographer is truly someone who can transform them into 360-degrees. Is it great to take a photo? It's beautiful in any position, from any angle. All of those powers are in the hands of the photographer.

Too bad the man didn't even give Aaron half a glance. Only Jason was introduced.

"Cyrus, these are all my best male models. Please take care of them."

Cyrus said nothing, glanced around at them, paused briefly at Claude Hemsworth, and then sat quietly in his seat.

"Cyrus, Cyrus..."

Aaron mumbled, then, as if suddenly remembering something, this guy excitedly pulled Claude’s ear.

"Could it be Cyrus?"

“Which Cyrus?”

Claude Hemsworth was bewildered.

"Forget you are new."

Aaron patted his forehead. He's more of an American-style guy, so every move is exaggerated like a real American. Now he's rolling his eyes.

"Photographer Cyrus changed Henry Jackie's luck!"

Claude was startled.

"So he must be famous, right? Our company really invested all its capital in investing in Simon."

"I don't have any ideals about that."

Aaron shrugged.

"He helped Henry Jackie get up and down. You know, we all have to participate when we have parties. He's been disappeared for years. Besides, after Henry Jackie became famous, he doesn't seem to specialize in photography anymore, so the price shouldn't be that expensive."

When they started to board the plane, Claude took the ticket along with everyone.

Whether by coincidence or intentional, Jason arranged, Cyrus sat right next to Claude's chair.

Seeing him lift a huge bag and put it in the overhead luggage compartment, Claude kindly asked.

"Need my help?"

Cyrus completely ignored Claude, carefully stowing his luggage. When he felt stable, he sat down and fastened his seat belt.

Claude saw the indifference radiating from the other man, and gave up the idea of starting a conversation with him.

People said that everyone who is famous is arrogant, he thought. It looks like it's going to be four boring hours. At that, Claude sighed, thinking to himself that it would be more fun to sit with Aaron. At least his flight distance was not so boring.

"Are you a pessimist?"

At the moment Claude Hemsworth thought this man would never open his mouth to speak, Cyrus suddenly turned his face and asked.

"Huh?"

Claude stiffened his tongue. Originally, he was about to say something, but when he caught sight of Cyrus's eyes behind his glasses, Claude found himself unable to speak.

Cyrus' eyes are brown with a bit of grey, so each of his lines is so clear that anyone who has a glimpse would think that these eyes are blind, but on a closer look, he is so beautiful that he can make anyone fall in love with him.

Cyrus's frown was slightly raised by Claude's wandering expression. Cyrus turned his face away to say.

"Looks like you're not a pessimist."

"What?"

Cyrus put on the eyepatch and casually said.

"If you're a fool, you don't know what pessimism is?"

No matter how good Claude's personality is, how can people be scolded directly as stupid? He was about to protest, but the long and small fingers of the man sitting next to him pulled down his eyelids, showing a resting expression.
