"LUCA PUT HIM DOWN, RIGHT NOW!" Asher heard someone yell from across the room. When he looked over in the direction the voice came from, Asher was completely shocked to see that it was actually Kaoru, one of the Regaldi twins, who came to my rescue against Kir’s angry fiancé.

"I'll kill him!" Luca said as he tightened his grip on Asher’s throat.

Asher looked over at Kir and saw her frozen to the spot, yet he couldn’t blame her.

‘What are you supposed to do when your fiancé is attempting to strangle your mate for trying to kiss you?.....I really need to get some control over myself soon....’

"Luca, let him go already, you're causing more problems for Kir right now." Moose calmly intervened, while walking towards Kir.

Asher didn’t fight back, not only because he knew that it was pointless, but also because he knew that it would only make matters worse if the two of them were to get into an all-out brawl, especially in the middle of class.

"You need to stay the hell away from my woman, you hear me, you rotten low-life." Luca snarled into Asher’s face.

Something about Luca’s sentence seemed to cause Kir to snap back into reality, as she ran across the gymnasium and lifted Luca up, before throwing him against the ceiling.

"Three things that you'll need to remember, Luca." She snarled in the man's face.

"One, I'm not YOUR woman, two, if you ever harm any of my friends again, then I will not hesitate to kill you, and three, don't think, for even a moment, that I won't be taking this incident straight to your father." Kir growled, before walking back to Asher and checking the damage done to his throat.

"Kir, take Asher to the infirmary to get his wounds looked at please. And Luca, royalty or not, I will not accept such behavior in my gym, you are to go with Kaoru to the penalty room for the rest of the day." Coach said to them before Kir led Asher out of the gym.

After walking alongside Kir through the halls for a while, Asher started to realize that they weren’t going the right way. “Hey Kir, the infirmary is the other way, this is the way to the back of the academy.” Asher pointed out, but Kir seemed to have not heard me. “Kir, we’re going the wrong way.” Asher repeated.

"We're not going to the infirmary, so just be quiet and follow my lead." Kir said to Asher before going quiet once again.

Kir and Asher arrived at the backdoor of the academy after walking for another five minutes and Kir led me out the door, and into a secluded garden. I looked around and accidentally bumped into Kir’s back when she unexpectedly stopped. “Alright, sit right there.” Kir said as she pointed to a small bench.

Asher followed her orders, due to knowing that this woman was not one that takes disobedience lightly once she got serious about something.

"If you ever tell anyone about what I'm about to do then, I will have you hunted down and fed to Lord Dragolifia's horde, do you understand?" Kir asked, causing Asher to tremble slightly.

"Y-yes ma'am!" He responded back.

Kir smiled before gently tilting my head up, exposing my neck to her. "Wait....what are yo-" Asher got cut short as he froze from seeing Kir’s fangs protrude from her gums.

Asher was startled by the sight of Kir’s fangs because they were not the kind of fangs that one would expect to see on a werewolf, no… the fangs that Kir was revealing to him at that moment were those of a vampire….

Asher continued to stare at Kir as she seemed to become entranced by the veins popping out on my jugular. Asher felt the urge to close his eyes for some reason and he followed his instincts.

Suddenly, Asher could feel Kir’s hot breath against his neck and he shuddered at the tingling that it caused to course through his body.

"Don't worry, I have enough control of myself not to let temptation take over me right now." Kir said as though trying to reassure him, apparently, not realizing that fear isn't the reason that my body is trembling right now. Kir took a deep breath and just as Asher opened his eyes, she used her fangs on her own wrist, causing blood to trickle down her arm.

"Trust me." She said before lifting her bleeding wrist to Asher’s face and urging him to drink the blood. Asher did as she wished, he wasn’t completely sure as to why he felt so compelled to follow her orders, as he didn’t feel any fear towards her right then.

The moment the blood touched his tongue, it was as if Asher was drinking from the purest stream on earth, rather than his mate’s wrist.

Asher felt completely rejuvenated. However, despite never having an appetite for blood before, when it came to Kir’s, he couldn’t seem to stop himself.

Asher continued to drink from Kir’s wrist until he was yanked away from her by a mysterious force.

"Alpha! What the hell were you thinking?!" The man named Moose yelled from where Kir was just standing.

As Asher started to regain his composure and focus, he began to see why he was yanked away from his mate.

"Kir, come on, you know better than this! Mate or not, why the hell would you do this to yourself?!" Inuharu yelled at Kir.

When Asher looked at Kir, he realized that she now had a bruise and claw marks on her throat, in the exact same spot as where his were just moments ago. The two men looked over at Asher before Inuharu spoke.

"I don't care what she says, don't ever allow Kir to do that for you again." He told Asher before Moose spoke up.

"We're not blaming you for this one, because there's no way you could've known that Kir was even capable of having this ability, but you cannot let this happen again now that you do know." He told Asher.

Asher was still slightly confused about what exactly happened, so he just stared at the men.

"They're mad at me for using my blood to heal you." Kir said hoarsely, while holding her head.

Asher rushed over to Kir as he noticed her start to lose her balance.

"We're mad at you, Alpha, because you knew that using your blood to heal him would result in you taking over his injury." Moose scolded her.

Asher looked over at Moose, then back at Kir’s neck, and all of the dots started to connect, revealing the bigger picture.

"Kir used her blood to heal me, but in order to heal me, she had to take my injury away and inflict it on herself...." Asher looked over at Kir.

Asher realized that, no matter what happened, from there on out, he would never give up on this unique woman, who went out of her way to help him, someone who had caused her nothing but grief, despite having hurt herself in the process. The goddess had gifted him with an amazing and selfless mate and he would cherish her every day until the day he died.

"Asher, you can't tell anyone about Kir being part vampire, or you'll regret it." Inuharu threatened him. "Oh right....there's that too..." Asher smiled before making the biggest mistake possible.

"Hey if you ask me, it just makes Kir even hotter. And as her mate, I don't exactly want any other men finding reasons to be attracted to her, so I won't be telling anyone."

Asher reassured the men, while thinking to himself about how not even his boss could know about this.

"Uh oh....." Moose suddenly said while Inuharu laughed like a villain from a superhero movie.

"What?" Asher asked curiously.

"Rule number one." The men said in unison before Asher was thrown onto the ground and pinned by the same woman that just healed him mere seconds before, causing Asher to cough.

"I'll let you off easy this time, but don't let me catch you doing it again." Kir said before walking away.

"What did I do?! What's rule number one?! Whose rules are these? Why did Kir just attack me?!?!" Asher asked, completely dumb-founded.

"He's all yours, Moose, I still don't like the guy enough to help him get out of trouble with Kir." Inuharu laughed before walking away as well.

"Well, now that you're part of the group, you've got a whole lot of learning and catching up to do if you don't want Kir to whoop you every day." The dragon laughed while patting Asher’s back.

"Wait, what do you mean, part of the group? What group? And will you please just tell me what the hell rule number one is supposed to mean?!" Asher shouted at Moose as he began to lead the way back into the academy.

When the brown haired male enters the house, he's met with a fist to his face. "Okay.. I deserve that." He says as he holds his now bleeding nose. "Who the hell are you?" Inuharu growls as he goes in for another punch. Valentine grabs Inuharu's arm to prevent him from hitting the man again. "I wouldn't do that, Roo. Look at your sister." Valentine points towards Kir. Kir's nose trickles blood, causing Roo to look between her and the man he just punched in the face. "What the hell.. " He says, completely confused by this string of events. "Well Kotar, you have some explaining to do." Valentine says with a grunt. Kotar looks at Kir's unconscious body and ignores everyone else. "Is she okay? I know the bond connects the pair but I didn't know it could do something like this." Kotar says as he takes a step closer. Alex gives Kotar a warning growl, making him step back. "And who are you? Last I checked, even royals are subjected to the demon exile." Kotar sneers. Alex huffs as he turns

"Oh yeah.. I forgot about that part." Alex says as he scratches his head with embarrassment. "So what are we going to do then? Is he going to send me back? Or do you think he'll kill me for this?" Alex asks as he tries to read Kir's expressionless face. "Well if he was able to kill you then he would've already done it. My guess is that this mark thing prevents him from doing that but that's just a theory so we shouldn't get too far ahead of ourselves yet." Kir concludes as she looks away from Alex's gaze. "One more thing." Alex starts. "Why are you avoiding eye contact with me?" He asks as he steps closer to Kir. Kir seems to panic a bit as her voice wavers, "I-i.. I'm not avoiding anything, Alex." Alex takes another step near her, only a few centimeters apart now. "Kir." He whispers in her ear. Kir's eyes shoot over to Alex's, a deep blue that flickers to black every few seconds. "Well that's new. What does black mean?" He asks as he gen

Kilo growls as he throws more punches.Alex snarls at the accusations but tries to remain calm as he continues to dodge. "If you would just listen to me.. "Umm.. Well.. Uhh.. " Kotar struggles to find the right answer. Kir giggles as she sits up and climbs onto his lap, face-to-face with Kotar while her hands are draped over his shoulders. Kotar inhales sharply as he tries to look away. The sly female wraps her legs around her companion's waist as she makes him face her. "What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?" She teases. The male visibly gulps as his pulse rises. "K-Kir… what are y-you doing.. " He asks shakily. Kir uses her nail to trace along Kotar's neck as she stares into his brown eyes. "I'd like to ask you the same thing, why have you been exuding those pheromones ever since we entered the room?" She whispers into his ear, causing Kotar to shiver. It takes Kotar a moment to realize what she had said as he snaps out of his daze and looks around the room. Sure enough the entire room was filled with pink clouds of smoke. He looks between the pink clouds and the woman on his lap, unsure of what to do at this moment and feeling very e

He replies back and pours her drink. The bartender turns to give Kir her drink but upon seeing her, he freezes and drops her drink. Before the drink can hit the ground and shatter, Kir quickly hops over the bar and grabs it. "Thanks." He says while continuing to gawk at the girl. There are three bedrooms here, you can either take his room or the guest room while you're here." Linaria chuckles, "we did do a lot of training. Speaking of which, I heard that you really like combat and sparring. If that's true then I suppose I could show you to the gym portion of the house."Kir's eyes immediately light up at the mention of a gym. "Really? Can I use it? Do you ha
