Adira lives in a place where there are many so-called gangsters, and she belongs there. She is an orphan with her sister, but her sister does not treat her well, so she decides to leave to go off on her own. Now she lives alone in an old warehouse ever since their parents passed away. The only thing she makes a living from is accepting missions from those who can afford her services. Adira does not accept a mission if the price is life. The king, King Stephen, has been receiving threats on his son's life. He doesn't trust his companions inside the palace except for his son and General Agustin. Even though it was against Adira's rules that she would not accept a mission similar to that of the prince, she accepted it because of the king and his love for his son, agreeing to train him with the sword and keep him safe. Now, with her rules compromised, she's committed to the family. Will she be able to keep her emotions in check? How can she explain the sudden beating of her heart every time the prince is around her? Is she prepared to risk her life for this man?

Chapter 1 The Lady Gangster
It wasn’t noon, so a tiny cafeteria was only partially occupied. A woman entered silently and went to the dishes wearing a dark sweatshirt, frayed trousers, and rubber shoes. She then sat in a nook, repositioned the hood of her jacket over her head, and placed her hand inside the pocket. She saw a man and the owner herself, who appeared to be having the wrong conversation, while she waited for the cafeteria personnel to place her chosen food and rice in front of her. “Why am I still paying?” The man exclaimed loudly, “It took me a while to decide what to eat."The cafeteria proprietor gently responded to him. “After the consumer has finished eating, we simply accept money. How can you say you’ve already given it? We only accept payment after the consumer has eaten."“I simply give the money to you earlier. You were talking so much that you missed it."“I have more workers here, and they are the ones who determine if someone has paid or not. You’ve finished eating; now it’s time for you

Chapter 2 Kidnapped
The area around Adira’s warehouse is silent at midnight as some individuals slowly approach her home to discover a way inside. The strange men were fortunate to find a broken window in the warehouse that they could squeeze through, but getting to that window required climbing a ladder. The only entrance into the warehouse was through the junkyard in the back, which the men wearing black face masks discovered and used. They could only move inside quietly, making no noise as they did so. They were fortunate since Adira was exhausted and didn’t perceive an intrusion into her home.Soon after the men began searching for Adira, one of them came across her dozing off and felt no one was nearby. He took a handkerchief from a small bottle of yellow medicine, brought it carefully to Adira’s face, and rapidly covered her nose. She immediately woke up and tried to get the handkerchief off her nose. The medication she inhaled from the cloth was too potent, though, and she quickly fainted, losing c

Chapter 3 Prince Weakness
The following day, Prince Dylan was returning from the side of the area where ordinary people reside. Vegetable farming was the sole source of revenue. He went there to see if the residents’ standard of living was still good. The prince is riding a horse close to the palace, along with a few troops. He descended when they approached the castle, and the soldier brought the horse’s rope into the stable. The troops handling the large door greeted him as soon as he entered. They bowed simultaneously, but General Agustin hailed him as soon as he entered the palace."Prince, good morning. Did you travel well and safely?""Yes, but I must nap beforehand because I’ve been traveling often." The General dissuaded him from leaving just as he was about to."However, the king is calling you first. Even though you may be exhausted, what your father says is important."He grumbled and eventually followed General Agustin, despite his desire to recline and relax. After entering his father’s office, the

The following morning, Adira awoke early, but her flight was at noon. She also realized she still needed to take a shower. She noticed the prince gazing into the distance as she moved down the hallway. "What time do they get up in the morning?"She approached him. "Prince Dylan, good morning."When his forehead began wrinkling, he was startled and slightly surprised. “What keeps you here, anyway? Why didn’t you leave my palace?"“In your father's palace, you do not currently own King Stephen's castle as you are only a prince and not a king."Since he turned his back on her and said nothing, she assumed he was just slightly offended by what she said. His sneakers caught her attention since they were softer than hers. She is still wearing shoes that are covered in mud. His jeans appeared to have undergone repeated ironing. His top was fitting for a prince, with fabric sewn directly onto the front of the garment and some hanging on the shoulders. She arched an eyebrow at him as he abruptl

Chapter 5 Another Mission
When she walked into the bar, it was jam-packed, smoky, and smelled strongly of alcohol. Many people were flirting on the sides where the light wasn’t shining. She tried to get past the people dancing in the middle until she went to a dark spot where she could see the people freely. She looked around as scattered bouncers near her seemed to be observing the surroundings. “This bar is high-class and too strict. How can I go to the room where Mr. Torres is?”She saw a hallway that was dark because of the tiny lights of the down-mounted lights attached to the wall near the floor. She put her braided hair on her left shoulder for an excuse to look in the hallway, but she noticed a CCTV camera upstairs. “It Looks like I have to sneak around or trick something before I can get to the room.”It’s a good thing no one tried to approach her while she was making a plan if they wanted to see a scary eye. She’s been standing for a few minutes, trying to enter the room. She strolled to the room of

Chapter 6 Want To Meet Her
Adira knows she has completed another mission, the result of which is a mission accomplished. She was close to the warehouse where she was staying when she saw the shadow of a person in front of the door of the warehouse. As she approached it, it turned out to be Simon, and he seemed to be waiting for her. She stopped in front of him and didn't leave her seat on the motorbike. "It's already midnight; why are you still there?" she asked. He came closer to her, and the only light between them was the moonlight. "Someone wants to talk to you," Simon said. She frowned. "Who?" "Mrs. Torres." "Why?" He just shrugged. "I don't know why, but she called earlier while you were doing your mission." He took a small piece of paper from his pocket and gave it to her. "You two will meet at the address written on the paper. She didn't mention what it was for. She just said she just wanted to see you. " She folded the paper and grabbed the steering wheel of her motorbike again and started

Chapter 7 Back To Stalwart Castle
The moment Adira got back to her house, she immediately packed clothes and some things, such as underwear and two gloves. She always wears black gloves whenever she has a mission, but she didn't just wear them on the mission to Mr. Torres because they didn't fit what she was wearing, and the most important of all of it was her two wooden sticks, so all of the things she was going to bring were put inside the big bag. She checked again to see if anything was okay, and after that, the things that she brought were okay, so she left the room again to eat. The night came, and Adira went to bed early, knowing she would only sleep for a few hours because her flight was early in the morning and she had to take a taxi to get to the airport. The next day, King Stephen and Prince Dylan are already eating their breakfast, but Adira is not there yet because she has to wait five hours before the plane lands in Dylan's country. The plane left at 4 a.m. with Adira. While eating, Prince Dylan ask

Chapter 8 First Try, Failed
Adira was walking in the hallway when she saw General Agustin. He immediately approached her. "Come with me first. The king will show you something." He walked again, and she was left wondering. When she entered the king's office, she immediately sat down in front of the king. She also noticed that he was holding a piece of paper and staring at it. He sighed and looked at her with tired eyes. "Read it." She reached for the paper and read it with her eyes. "Time flies and the moon replaces the sun. The life of a nobleman is nearly over, so before this happens, obey one request. " She frowned at the way the word was written to have another meaning. While she was holding the letter, King Stephen spoke. "That's just one of the letters that have been sent to me by an unknown person, and I'm a little nervous because the letters are getting worse, especially for how they write them." "How do you get this without seeing who the culprit is?" "Letters are left outside the palace, an

Chapter 9 Embarrassing Situation
Meanwhile, the king saw the fight between the two while he was at the top of the palace and was looking at them from below. "She wields a sword well," said General Agustin. The king nodded as he looked at Adira as she examined another weapon. "I was not wrong that I hired her. Their training has just begun, but I can tell that Dylan will learn something from her right away, especially since she is not afraid of anything the prince says. " Adira seems to have impressed General Agustin. "But it's still surprising. I don't know if she has a weapon that is used in her country, but what she did earlier was impressive, especially when she raised the sword and it stopped near the prince's neck. If one of them tries to move, I'm sure Prince Dylan will be injured. " He looked closely at the young lady. "I believe Adira is more than just an ordinary person, so I hired her. She can do something impressive, and you can't read what's going on in her mind. She mentioned that she was forgetti

They were also unable to train for a few days because Prince Dylan had a sudden visit. To visit their constituency far from the palace, and he only returned today. The afternoon arrived, but Adira was already in her room, apparently thinking about something. She also left the room and went to the top of the palace not long after. She peered below the palace but saw the prince holding the sword. She frowned. "He just came back, but why does he seem to be training alone?" She saw him doing what she taught him the other day before he suddenly left. She just watched him and analyzed his movements. While Adira simply stared at the prince. Prince Dylan tries to remember what Adira taught him. He dodged the sword slowly, but he forgot what else Adira had taught him. Even though he was tired, he still tried to practice so that he wouldn't be an ignorant person every time she taught him. "It's still hard sometimes to talk to that young lady." He just shook his head and tried to refocus.
