“We are going in there, cous,” Katy gleefully says on the line while I sit on the bench outside the HospitalHospital. I look at the falling snow and try to calm my nerves.

“Are you sure?” I’m not sure about my schedules, cous,” I try to persuade them they must not cross Forks and Clearwater because of the spreading bittens in town. I sigh with a cloud of visible smoke coming out of my warm mouth.

“Hardurlf,” I corrected.

“Oh, yeah! That handsome man, don’t forget to invite him to dinner. See you, cous!” Katy chuckles on the other line with amusement in her voice. I hum until she hangs up.

I go inside the HospitalHospital, where only a few patients are because of the cold. Mostly, people are inside their homes during the holiday season. Also, it’s not because of the attacks.
