The Last Alpha Chapter 71

He is surrounded by so many wolves; I unconsciously count them, and they were roughly thirty wolves versus one. Fenris keeps on evading their claws and striking them accurately.

I run, and my eyes turn magnificently sharp with this sense of smell. I can identify where Fenris is. My feet keep running as fast as I can and crash the wolf into the tree.

It whines, and I get the attention of other wolves. The low growl at me, but Fenris keeps attacking every one of them. He bites the other wolf in his neck, and blood flows like a river—pouring on the earth.

However, it never surrenders and keeps on attacking my buddy. I run to him and jump at the wolf. My hands catch its neck in the mid-air. I violently twisted it, and the wolf died on the spot.

Sam’s eyes look at me, but all I can see is Fenris’ reflection. He is cheering me through our mind-link. Nevertheless, this is too early for a celebration. The wolf runs and bites the other wolf on its leg.
