Chapter 7

Maze's

"Maze, what happened?" Jake and the other two stood up from their seats the moment I reached their table at the coffee shop where we agreed to meet the 'babysitter' I wanted to hire.

"Uh, what's wrong? You look like you just went through Armageddon." First and his honest mouth striked again and Heine gave him a warning look but he just shrugged.

I sighed before looking at the waiter who's passing by and told her to get me some cold drink.

We all sat down and they waited for me to tell what happened before I got here and so I sighed again before leaning my back against the chair.

"Gabriel is against the idea, of course." and as if on cue, they all sighed as well.

"You look as though we didn't expect that kind of reaction from him. C'mon, Man. We just guessed it right, you should be prepared at the very least." Here goes First again. And Jake poked him in his side to shut him up but I ignored him.

He's actually right. We had expected Gab's violent reaction about this 'babysitt
