Chapter 6: Nervous

I was awoke when I felt my phone buzzing by my side, I groan. I was dreaming about the time when Milo has pulled me close and took me into his arms! I rolled my eyes and uncovered half of my body to reach for it from my nightstand and realized that it was a text message. But then, who in the world would text me this early? With a growl, I opened the message.

Hey, good morning :) better get ready cause we'll be there in fifteen.

I perked a brow.

Who's this?

I uncovered myself completely from the sheets, sitting up on my bed as I found a pencil from my table and used it for my hair to get it all out of my face, then my phone buzzed.

Milo :)

My eyes widened. I didn't expect him to actually text me or something, but he did. I was expecting him to only say something like, hey we're in front of your house or like, get ready for school, but no, he sent me a good morning message.

Oh Milo! Well, good morning to you too! I gotta go, gotta get ready before you come and pick me up. See you in a bit x

Putting 'x' at the end of my message, didn't that look like I was trying to flirt with him? Ugh Lorien, you're so stupid.

He didn't reply to me anymore. Maybe he's got to do something so I just grabbed my bath towel and took a cold shower, I wasted no time. I wouldn't like to make the Ellis' wait for just someone like me, there is no way I'm ever going to make them wait for me. I threw on my light pink long sleeves and black skinny jeans pairing it with black converse. I let my hair flow down my shoulders and ran downstairs only to see my mom making me breakfast.

"Hey mom, good morning." I gave her a peck and sat on the chair. "What are you making today?"

"Well, cereal."

"Seriously?"

"Seriously." I groaned earning a laugh from her as I seated on my chair, "You've got to give me money so I can go and have Kofibucks before I go straight to school, mommy." I winked as she once again laughed.

As soon as I have finished my breakfast, a loud honk was heard from the outside of our house. It must be the Ellis', I wiped off my mouth with the back of my hand and slung my bag on my shoulder as I walked to the door.

"Are they picking you up?" I froze just as I heard my mother asked me that and slammed the door shut.

I bit my lower lip, "Uh, yes mommy. They wanted to."

"Okay then. Becareful, baby, love you." She stated as I smiled at her. Opening our front door widely as it reveals a smiley Harry.

"Where's aunt Francheska?" He asks.

"Inside," I just replied and immediately saw Milo from the driver's seat as he waved at me. "Good morning, Milo." I smiled.

"Wow," Harry rolled his eyes. "Good morning to you too, Lorien," he added sarcastically, as this time I rolled my eyes on him.

"Good morning, Harry," I greeted him with a wide smile then his frown was soon replaced with a lovely smile.

"Good morning to you too, Lorien." He replies with a light chuckle, making me groan while the brothers just laughed. Without another word, I got myself inside of the car and shouted 'bye I love you' to my mother before we completely left the house.

"So, where do you want to go before going straight to school?" Asked the blonde haired guy sitting beside Harry, and is looking at me through the rear view mirror then back to the road.

"Uh," I mumbled, "I've just had breakfast though."

"Are you sure?" Milo smirks, "But we're going to have coffee, if you want you can leave us there." I literally groaned making the both of them laugh.

"I hate you two." I glared at the brothers, as they have both let out soft giggles. I'm glad that I could still talk like this with Milo after what happened last night, I mean neither of us are acting weird.

Though I cannot deny that I'm a bit disappointed, that hug from last night may not hold any meaning to Milo but to me... it really made me so happy. I felt safe, and peaceful. As if just having his arms around me could easily wash away all of my problems, I wonder did Milo feel anything when he hugged me?

***

Milo has pulled over in front of Kofibucks as Harry immediately gets off the car, just like a little kid would if he was brought to the arcade. Harry slings his bag over his shoulder as he looks back to Mio and I who are still inside of the car.

"What are you guys waiting for?" Harry shouted, making his brother chuckle and I rolled my eyes.

"Let's go?" Milo asked just when we got ourselves out of his car, my eyes widened when I realized that he was really offering his arm to me. Like, I know he has always been this way- a gentleman - but I never imagined myself clinging on him. Is this for real?

"Lorien?" Milo called and I was snapped out of my thoughts.

"Ah.. er- yea-yeah.. Sure." I replied, putting my head down before lacing my arm around his. Wait... did I just really stutter back there?

"Great!" I heard him yelled as I slowly raised my head to look at him, his lips are formed into a thin line as his beautiful blue eyes were shining down at me and his blonde hair parting from the cold wind as it hit his face. I chuckled softly, Milo is really a work of art- a beautiful one.

As we got inside of the store, I sniffed in the coffee aroma and smiled as Harry found a table and is sitting down the chair with a drink in his hand with a smirk on his face. I rolled my eyes on him.

"One dark mocha frap and a choco hazelnut please," I heard Milo told the barista, I hadn't even noticed that we were already in the line. My eyes were too busy staring at him.

"You didn't have to do that, you know, paying for my drink," I told him looking down my shoes.

"Don't mention it," Milo smiles and I almost melted. "Here you go, dark mocha frap." I took my drink from his grasp and let out a smile.

"Thank you," I watched the corners of his lips curve up and formed a beautiful smile across his face, a genuine smile. If only I have the power to stop the time, I would, and stare at Milo forever. I could spend the rest of my days looking at him smiling, he looks like a beautiful picture- is he really human? Perhaps an angel?

As Milo spins himself around, I was back into my senses. Oh gosh, did Milo find out that I was staring at him, daydreaming? That's so embarrassing!

I closed my eyes shut, as I turned to my back and walked to where Harry's at and sat beside him. Milo took the seat across us, his eyes locked on his phone. My eyes just really couldn't leave him alone, this is hard.

"Looks like Ty's awake already," he blurted out then leans back to his seat.

"He posted, didn't he?" Harry asked his older brother, Milo just nodded who keeps scrolling through his phone up and down. "Tell him we're here," Harry added with an evil laugh.

Actually, I still could not believe it all myself. I never imagined that I could hang around with Zenith. Like, this is a dream come true, right? Fans like myself have been dreaming about becoming friends with our idols, or even be able to be with them for just  a day. Plus, I was always alone when I go to Kofibucks. Although I do not make it seem so obvious to other people because I was always taking the table for four people, I don't want them to know that I'm friendless.

But now, that too, has changed. I do not have to pretend like I was waiting for my friends to arrive anymore and act like they all have ditched me when I have to leave, for Milo and Harry (maybe Tybalt too) are with me.

As soon as Harry finished his food, yep he has ordered some food for himself and only for himself. He never bothered asking me or his brother if we wanted some. We have walked out of Kofibucks, Harry walking ahead of me and Milo, who was walking by my side.

"Uh, sorry for disturbing your sleep earlier," I looked up to this man with blonde hair, he had his head low and lips into a straight line. How could you ever resist him?

I chuckled making him look at me, "Yeah... you really disturbed my sleep but it's okay, or else I would have been running late by now." He laughs, then flashes me a bright smile, those blue eyes of his staring deep into my soul. Oh wow, I'm lost...

"Uh, shall we go?" Harry cuts in, popping his head out of the car's window. Milo and I just laughed as we made our way to the car. He opened the door for me and smiles making me blush. It is not that this is the first time that someone has held the door for me but, if it is Milo Ellis? I don't know.... my heart is beating incredibly fast that breathing suddenly gets so hard to do. I looked down as I get inside of the car and mouthed a 'thank you' to him.

***

We are now in our classroom, the teacher hasn't arrived yet which Harry had taken advantage of and decided to sleep. His eyes were closed but his mouth was slightly opened, I laughed at the sight of him but stopped just as the teacher had stepped inside of the classroom. I shook him but he groaned, still eyes closed.

"Harry, wake up. The teacher's already here!" I whispered into his ear, he scratches the back of his head and turned the other way. I mentally groaned and rolled my eyes, "Wake up or you might get detention!" I added, his eyes fluttered open and sits back up properly making me smirk.

"There you go, Ellis," I giggled, he stretched his arms out and rubbed his eyes. "Why are you sleepy all of a sudden? Considering the fact that we just had coffees."

"Movies," he just replied shortly accompanied with a yawn.

"That explains a lot." I whispered as Harry brings his head back down to his desk and I hit him with my textbook, now he is wide awake.

***

The bell rang and Mr. Smith has dismissed us, they all hurried out of the room as I shook my head. Students will always be so excited for the classes to end, well me too. I mean, who wouldn't be, right? If I had a choice, I would rather stay at home than deal with all the plastics in school. Slinging my bag over my shoulder with a little sigh escaping my lips, came a hand on my wrist dragging me to somewhere I don't know.

And yes folks, it's Harry.

"Now, where are we going?" I asked him, struggling to be free from his grasp but Harry was stronger than I thought.

"It's a secret," he looks over his shoulder and winked at me. "Now just shush and wait 'til we get there!" I just rolled my eyes on him and let him drag me to wherever he's taking me.

Since I have become Harry's "twin", he was always dragging me with him- to the cafeteria, back of the school building, rooftop, library etc. And now, he's taking me with him to somewhere I don't know. It's not like I do not want to be with him or whatever, because to tell the truth, wherever Harry has brought me, it was always full of fun.

We finally stopped from running and figured we were on top of a hill. Harry lets go of my hand, bringing his own to his knees as he tried catching for his breath. I chuckled, looking up as my hands had immediately found their way up to my mouth.

Harry has brought me to a place where you could see the sunset.

And it is breathtakingly beautiful.

"Oh my gosh," I gasped as my eyes begin to water. "Harry... Harry, how'd you know about this place?" I asked him, not taking my eyes off of the sunset. The sky was in a mix of colors- pink, orange and yellow as the sun slowly made its way all the way down. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my entire life, this is the first time that I have watched the sunset. Nobody except me and my mother knew that I have been dreaming of watching it! I couldn't believe that right now I am here, standing next to Harry, watching the sun going down and soon will be replaced by the moon. If I wasn't busy staring at it, I would have taken my phone by now and recorded it but I was. I wanted to remember this moment, forever... in my heart.

I hadn't even noticed that my eyes were clouded up with tears.

"Thank you, Harry," before he could even open his mouth, I have thrown myself at him and buried my face on his chest. "I-I never thought-"

"Your mom said you've always wanted to see the sunset," my eyes flew open and slowly unwrapped my arms around his waist.

I looked up to him, "She what?"

"She said it yesterday," Harry smiles down to me with a smile. He's looking twice as handsome, especially that the sun is setting right now and his eyes were shining, "-when Ty and you were still gone, buying coffees."

"Only to you?"

He shook his head. "Because she only whispered it to herself, Romeo and I were sitting beside her but Ro's too busy watching the movie so.."

I sniffed, "Thank you..." I mumbled and he smiled down to me.

"Anytime, for you, my twin." He told me, as these tears had started to stream down my face. They were unstoppable, no matter how much I try holding them back, they will flow down my cheeks without my permission.

I have never felt this so happy... ever since the last time I saw my father.

"Why are you boys so kind to me?" I finally let that out and exhaled a little louder, "I-I mean you let me go to your house freely and let me hang out with you like I'm sort of a long time friend. You-you guys even treat me even though you all knew I am just a fan of yours- didn't it ever cross your mind that I might be a creep? Since I'm one of your fans? That I might do something crazy, up to the point that you will all wish that you'd never met me? I-I am just curious, I just want....to know."

Harry puts his hands into the pockets of his jeans, turning himself to look back at the beautiful sunset in front of us. He smiles, and then lets out a sigh, "Because we all feel comfortable around you."

I was stunned.

"You're different, Lorien." He adds in, "You're so easy to talk to, you make us feel like we're no different than ordinary people again. You don't think we're perfect. Do you know what I mean?" I nodded and he smiles, "Now let's go. Milo is probably down there by now, waiting for the both of us." He offered his arm to me and without a doubt, I laced mine to his, smiling up to my twin.

As we both got down the hill, there was Milo who was leaning into the car from a distance. Harry turns to look at me as I shrugged, Milo looked worried. Then Harry has called out his name, Milo spins himself around and frowned, Harry and I flashed him a wide smile.

"Where have you been?" Milo yells, "I had been waiting here for like fifteen minutes!"

"Sorry big bro, we just watched the sunset from up there." Harry pointed up the hill where he had just brought me.

So it was just near the school, huh?

"Whatever. Get inside, it's getting dark. We need to het Lorie home before seven or aunt Francheska won't ever let Lorien hang around with us anymore. And I would not want that!"

Eh?

Did he just really say that? Did Milo really just say that he would not want me to stop hanging out with them? Does that mean that he wants me around, that he wants me to be his friend?

Milo, just like earlier, has opened the door for me and smiled down to me as I get inside of the car. The ride was quiet because you see, Harry was sleeping at the backseat and no matter how much I wanted to turn the music player on, I couldn't. Can't let this young man turn into a monster, right? He must have felt really tired from running all the way up to that hill.

Milo pulled over just by our house's gate as I quickly unbuckled myself and get off the car. Before closing the door, I bent down to look at Milo who was in the driver's seat.

"Thank you for today, it was really fun," I smiled.

"Yeah..." he replies shortly, "It was." He adds in with a smile and I slammed the door shut. Moving away from the vehicle and waving at him, then I crossed the road as I make my way inside of my house when he called my name.

I was actually praying that he would do that...

Clearing my throat, I asked "Yes?"

"I- uh..- um... er- I-"

What is suddenly wrong with him?

"What is it?" I asked him, sounding a little annoyed, I did that on purpose so he would quit stuttering and say it in one go.

Milo groans, looking down to his feet on the ground and scratching the back of his head. "Actually... I-... u-um... how do I put this? I- uh...- you..."

I shot him a glare, then he bites his lower lip and looked down his shoes.

Is this true? Milo Ellis is being nervous?

"Ne-nevermind," he sighs with a hand om the back of his neck, "Ha-have a good night!" He adds in before getting back inside of his car and drives off immediately. My shoulders dropped and let out a disappointed sigh, what does he have to tell me? I turned around and opened the front door, I was surprised to see my mom sitting on the sofa with a smirk on her face.

"What?" I asked her, raising my shoulders and hands up in the air. She stands up with her arms crossed over her chest and cheekily grinned at me. "Come on mom, what is it?"

"He almost confessed to you."

I blushed.

"Wh-what?" I nervously laughed. "Mo-mom! What are you talking about? Don't be ridiculous! Milo.... he-he doesn't like me!"

Mom gave me an evil grin, "Is it just me or you sounded a little sad there?"

"I-I wasn't!" I shouted and made my way up to my room, leaving my mother laughing.

What is she thinking? And what even makes her think that Milo likes me? Someone like me is never going to be suitable for him, and say what? He was so close to confessing to me? That's just ridiculous! Milo won't ever like me.

But.... somehow, even just a little, I hope that he does.
