Chapter Five: Beginning Of Last Senior Year 4

"Hey, you heard my bestie's question. What do you want? We don't need you here." Juliet said quickly.

"Fine... I want you... Let's be honest here. I want you." Jimmy said.

"You want me?" Juliet said and laughed, dabbing at her eyes.

"Yes. You got my words right. I want you." He said firmly.

"You want me? How does that even sound to your own ears?" She asked.

"Honest, sincere and down to earth." He replied.

"Hey, Jimmy, Jinny or whatever you are called, are you a cop? How can you just show up and demand my friend? What a weird thing. What kind of joke is this?" Jane asked.

Juliet, however, did not dim it as a joke. She could tell that he was serious.

"Hey, you want me, Jimmy?" She asked.

"Yes. I want you. But don't get my words twisted. I am in love with you. I have waited for you for over four years. I started noticing you the very first day you walked through Reekfield's gate. I was watching you under that cashew tree." Jimmy replied.

Juliet stared around.

"Hey... see, we need to be serious. Do you know what, just tell me that you are joking?" She requested.

Jimmy slipped a piece of egg in between his lips and stared at her.

"I am dead serious, miss Juliet. I love you." He replied.

"Stop assuming that face, Lady Juliet." That was Jane. "Do you remember how you never allowed me to have a night's rest the evening Jimmy danced with you during the social night show? You told me with your lips that, and I quote; "Girl, I have a crush on him! He is so handsome." Quote ends, Lady Juliet. Can't you remember?"

Juliet gave her best friend a piercing look. She would severely deal with her latter.

"I do not know what you are alleging." She said and brought out her phone from her trouser pocket.

"What do you mean to tell me, Lady Juliet? Are you now denying it? Fine, look at Jimmy in the face and tell him that you never said those words." Jane dared.

"Time up for your breakfast! The president is waiting in the school hall. Do not forget to put your phones on silence mood!" A voice reverberated the words throughout the hall.

It only amused the freshers. The older students were used to it.

Juliet was grateful for the distraction. She stood up and pushed away her chair. She didn't even wait for her friend. She hurried away.

"Hey, don't be discouraged, Jimmy. Even though my best friend is undisputably the prettiest girl in Reekfield, she is single. She has never dated before. I know her inside out, like my maths book!" Jane said and hurried away after her friend.

Jimmy smiled to himself, his charming face extremely captivating. It was rare seeing the brightest student in the science department smile. The fifth formers wondered what was running through his mind.

Thousands of students were gathered in the large school hall in neat rolls. The Last year students' was the first by the new president's right. Speaking of the new President of Reekfield college, she a woman in her late thirties, with an amazing energy. Even at a glance, she looked serious and seemed to be the type that knew what she wanted and how best to get it.
