A highly adventurous and suspense filled highschool novel. Summarily, it's fun to read, as it will surely help you to relive your high school days from all aspects. Two friends, Juliet and Jane, take it upon themselves to investigate and uncover mysteries which if left unfolded, would bring calamity to their college. It's their last year finally. There is the mystery of the science master, Mr Sullivan, waiting to be unfolded. He is just a science master yet, he has a long American and several chain of businesses in the city. What is the source of his wealth? The two friends must find our, for as far as they are concerned, he must have been misappropriating the college's funds over the years.

AUTHOR'S NOTE
The Last Days At Reekfield's is a highschool romance/action/adventure series. It has six books in it. My aim of writing this series is to enable my readers experience their highschool days from a different angle; be it bad, average, good or what have you, and as you read, remember to indicate your predictions for the second book in the series in the comments/ratings section. The Last Days At Reekfield's is a series that is completely incomparable, given the perfect blend of love with studies, mysteries - which must be unfolded - and adventures.Chapter One
It was a chilly winter morning. Juliet grumbled as her best friend shook her violently."Hey, get up! We are going to be late for school if you spend another minute in that bed." Jane's voice came to her.That instant, Juliet sprung out of her bed and stared at her friend lazily."Hey! What the hell were you saying just now?" She asked. It took her a few moments to remember that she was back from the holidays, and as a matter of fact, she was in the first term of her last year at Reekfield college! She was now a senior student, and could do as she pleased."Hey! What are you thinking about?" Her friend asked her. "We are already late. The senior boarding house mistress will be here at any moment.""Girl, I am so excited to be a senior student! It feels great." Juliet said dreamily."It will be most exciting when the senior boarding house mistress gets here." Jane said and hurried towards their shared bathroom which was several metres away.Juliet quickly got out of her reverie. There was still old Mrs Lara to be afraid of. She knew better, what the old woman would do to her if she caught her in the dormitory at the wrong time. She would most probably, be given a heap of shoes to mend and clothes to stitch. She slipped out of her pyjamas and quickly grabbed her tooth brush, hurriedly heading for the bathroom."Juliet! You should have witnessed my aunt's wedding. You lied and never showed up. I kept expecting you till the sun kissed the sea." Jane said, splashing the bath water. She was in the bath already. Except, for her head, her whole body was buried in it. She was very pretty, with a slim body and an innocent pair of eyes."Argh... The wedding?" Juliet said absently as she looked around for her toothpaste. She only continued after she had found it. "I think we settled that over the phone? My parents refused to let me travel out of the country. There was little I could do." Janet hissed, washing her body."I know, but I can't help feeling sad whenever I think about it. I need you to also testify when I bring up the topic in the class later today. Rose, especially, will try to counter my words." She said."Rose? I will handle her. Be rest assured. And don't forget that I watched the video." She said.Bab terbaru

"So, what will happen if I reject you?" She asked."I will collect back the money from them of course." He said, and they laughed. He was really humourous."Ehen... And about the money; Why did she give you as much as ten thousand pounds? That is a huge amount." She said. It did not bother her to think about the possible sources of the president's income. As the president of the board, they knew that she must have several millions of pounds stalked away in her bank accounts. "She called me and asked how much I received from Mr Sullivan to sponsor the talk show.""Mr Sullivan?" Juliet asked, looking up a him."Yes, Mr Sullivan. The president told me that Mr Sullivan came to her office, requesting to withdraw as much as a hundred thousand pounds to fund this year's talk show. I told her that I funded the show from my own pocket. She was shocked, and gave me ten thousand pounds." He explained."I see." Juliet said, her clever eyes narrowing. Steve gave his friend a thumps up. But unknown to Juliet, or perhaps, it was what she anticipated, the duo of Jane and Jimmy had stopped running, and heard every inch of what she said - for she spoke almost too loudly, as if for their benefit.Juliet was startled when she heard her Jimmy's voice behind her - for setting all the circumstances aside, the latter was not aware that Jimmy was just behind her - but managed to maintain her composure. He wanted to know what she had just told Jim."Summarily, I said that I am happy he has spoken up about his feelings for me, and that i will give him a reply soon." She replied him.Jimmy scooped her off her feet and took her into the hall. Immediately they stepped on the stage, a loud cry rouse from the students and the coloured lights came on quickly, the disc jockey's soft music playing in the background. Jim blushed seriously."You flatter me alot, my dear. My name is not so special or sweet, like yours. I mean, just imagine the stress we out on you name. Ju-li.... That's my favourite part. The 'Li' in Juliet." Jim siad, and Juliet laughed. Jim threw a glance at Steve. The latter was busy chatting with his girlfriend. He felt like punching his nose. The idiot would not see now, how well he was progressing."So, do you have a partner for today's show?" He asked, trying hard not to make his voice sound flirtatious."Ahh, I see. You don't know where to sit, isn't it? Jimmy is the one hosting the show, so you can as well, take the place of the brightest chap in the sciences department for the sixth form category.'' Juliet said.Jim hesitated for a while. That Jimmy! She always brought him up no matter what."That Jimmy," He said, "Is simply a demon. Just last term, I don't know how he managed to over throw me. We were at the restaurant, enjoying their new recipes of coconut rice and chicken." Jane said, and Juliet fought hard not to throw up.The president smiled, knowing fully well, what Juliet's uneasy expression meant."I won't press you two further, as it is already seven thirty four, and the show will begin at eight. Well, just know that I am on your side. The science master is involved in a major funding scandal worth several hundreds of thousands of pounds. "Your excellency, the plan is all my idea. Mr Sullivan came to me yesterday and demanded to know what I have on my mind, since I am the host of this year's talk show. I told him everything, and he jotted it down, promising me to connect me with the very best organisers. Hours went by today, he did not call me. I tried his line severally, but it was switched off. It was at the last minute that I went out and contacted these organisers and their teams. I have not even paid them. I will withdraw two thousand pounds later from the ATM and give it them for their services." He said.The president was shocked."This is very wrong, Jimmy. You are a student. Why do you still have to use thousands of pounds from your personal funds to organise the show after the outrageous amount you paid as school fees?
