"Oh, he has greatly recovered. He pledged to come for my visit mid winter." Juliet supplied.

"Wow... I can't wait to see him! I will be most excited." Jane said.

While Juliet was always in the UK and rarely flew out, Jane was the near composite. She was based in the UK, but she always preferred to fly out during the holidays in between the school terms. She was a bit wild. Their parents both, were all super rich, and it is an entirely different story, if you are wondering how they first encountered and how their friendship kicked off.

Presently, it was their turn. The two friends greeted the cooks politely and bowed low as they were taught to do on receiving their food, after which they proceeded to one of the free tables with two chairs that faced each other.

"What a waste! I can say that the authorities spend several thousands of pounds each day for our daily meals." Jane said, staring at the huge freshly baked bread and heap of fried eggs on her plate.

Juliet shrugged, pouring a cup of tea for herself and her friend, from the tea pot on the table.

"Girl, I can not say, the last time I ate any of the meals to the very finish." She said.

"Then, while not tell the school's president to reduce the ration?" That was Jane.

"What is our concern with that? They will never listen to us, anyways. We pay fifty thousand pounds each term. It is justifiable." Juliet said, and her friend nodded in agreement.

They each, cut a sizable portion of bread, after which they proceeded to stuck fried eggs in it. The hall was commendably silent. Even the last year students spoke in whispers.

"Hey, I heard that our president has been changed." Juliet said, shifting in her chair excitedly.

"Yes it is true." An unwelcomed voice said.

The two friends looked up abruptly and stared at the intruder. They held their breaths for a while. It was Jimmy, one of the hottest form six males.

"Hey, you are not invited." Juliet said in her usual bossy manner.

"I am sorry for the interruption, Jane and Juliet. How do you do? How was the hols?" Jimmy asked, sitting down in a chair he had brought along. His other hand held a tray of bread and fried eggs.

"Hey! Who allowed you to sit?" Jane inquired.

Jimmy looked at Jane and smiled.

"Please, Jane. May I sit down?" Jimmy asked, standing up.

The two friends glanced at each other. The freshers who were nearby looked on.

"Sit down." Juliet said.

"Thank you." Jimmy said and sat down.

The two friends looked at each other again. What was wrong with Jimmy? How dare he interrupt their session?

"So, as you two were saying, it is true. Reekfield's president has been changed." The male said.

Jane glanced around.

"Do you not feel concerned that you are the only male seated in this area? What do you want?" She asked.

Jimmy smiled, equally staring around.

"Wow! Really? I am just noticing it." He said, tactically avoiding the question.

"So, what will happen if I reject you?" She asked."I will collect back the money from them of course." He said, and they laughed. He was really humourous."Ehen... And about the money; Why did she give you as much as ten thousand pounds? That is a huge amount." She said. It did not bother her to think about the possible sources of the president's income. As the president of the board, they knew that she must have several millions of pounds stalked away in her bank accounts. "She called me and asked how much I received from Mr Sullivan to sponsor the talk show.""Mr Sullivan?" Juliet asked, looking up a him."Yes, Mr Sullivan. The president told me that Mr Sullivan came to her office, requesting to withdraw as much as a hundred thousand pounds to fund this year's talk show. I told her that I funded the show from my own pocket. She was shocked, and gave me ten thousand pounds." He explained."I see." Juliet said, her clever eyes narrowing. "So, she actually allowed Mr Sullivan to go

Steve gave his friend a thumps up. But unknown to Juliet, or perhaps, it was what she anticipated, the duo of Jane and Jimmy had stopped running, and heard every inch of what she said - for she spoke almost too loudly, as if for their benefit.Juliet was startled when she heard her Jimmy's voice behind her - for setting all the circumstances aside, the latter was not aware that Jimmy was just behind her - but managed to maintain her composure. He wanted to know what she had just told Jim."Summarily, I said that I am happy he has spoken up about his feelings for me, and that i will give him a reply soon." She replied him.Jimmy scooped her off her feet and took her into the hall. Immediately they stepped on the stage, a loud cry rouse from the students and the coloured lights came on quickly, the disc jockey's soft music playing in the background. Jimmy held her hands and winked at her to do the gentleman dance with him."But I cannot dance it." She said, moving her body in unison to

Jim blushed seriously."You flatter me alot, my dear. My name is not so special or sweet, like yours. I mean, just imagine the stress we out on you name. Ju-li.... That's my favourite part. The 'Li' in Juliet." Jim siad, and Juliet laughed. Jim threw a glance at Steve. The latter was busy chatting with his girlfriend. He felt like punching his nose. The idiot would not see now, how well he was progressing."So, do you have a partner for today's show?" He asked, trying hard not to make his voice sound flirtatious."Ahh, I see. You don't know where to sit, isn't it? Jimmy is the one hosting the show, so you can as well, take the place of the brightest chap in the sciences department for the sixth form category.'' Juliet said.Jim hesitated for a while. That Jimmy! She always brought him up no matter what."That Jimmy," He said, "Is simply a demon. Just last term, I don't know how he managed to over throw me. I gave him a distance of nearly half a dozen points the other term." 'it was

The two friends stared at each other and then at their feets. Surely, even Jimmy or Steve were not aware of the mystery they were trying to unfold. Who had told the president about their mission? Why did she speak with such confidence as if she had a foreknowledge?"Your excellency, it could be that there was a mix up somewhere. We were at the restaurant, enjoying their new recipes of coconut rice and chicken." Jane said, and Juliet fought hard not to throw up.The president smiled, knowing fully well, what Juliet's uneasy expression meant."I won't press you two further, as it is already seven thirty four, and the show will begin at eight. Well, just know that I am on your side. The science master is involved in a major funding scandal worth several hundreds of thousands of pounds. I need side evidences to convince the council and subsequently the court, that he is up to no good, and should be handed over to the police." The president said. The two friends were surprised. Another per

Jimmy had approached her for the first time this year, to propose to her. What had his feelings for her being, previously? So, he was after something after all?Jane was quick in noticing her friend's disdainful expression. She stared at her intently."Hey, do not twist my words wrong. Jimmy might be in love with you truly. The only thing we are suspicious of, is his timing. But nevertheless, it could be that his timing is just a mere coincidence. Follow your heart, and believe me, you are going to have the spotlight in tonight's talk show. If you like, do not prepare yourself." She said. The four stylists who were in the spacious saloon stared at each other. The two were probably students of Reekfield's. They all knew about the school; it's expensive school fees, using of smartphones and laptops by students, their legal talks of relationships, their high sense of morality, their high development of intelligence and brain maturity, their expensive school meals, the ATM machine on the

"Your excellency, the plan is all my idea. Mr Sullivan came to me yesterday and demanded to know what I have on my mind, since I am the host of this year's talk show. I told him everything, and he jotted it down, promising me to connect me with the very best organisers. Hours went by today, he did not call me. I tried his line severally, but it was switched off. It was at the last minute that I went out and contacted these organisers and their teams. I have not even paid them. I will withdraw two thousand pounds later from the ATM and give it them for their services." He said. The president was shocked."This is very wrong, Jimmy. You are a student. Why do you still have to use thousands of pounds from your personal funds to organise the show after the outrageous amount you paid as school fees? The hosting of the talk show is largely the responsibility of the school. I will summon Mr Sullivan tomorrow and have him removed from his post if he fails to attend the show tonight." She sai
