The Last Time I Loved You

Luna took me to see the wedding setup. "I haven't slept in days trying to give you the perfect wedding."

As she spoke, she raised a hand and yawned. The movement pulled at her white blouse, exposing skin covered with countless hickeys and scratch marks beneath the fabric.

Had she really been losing sleep planning the wedding? Or had the wedding planner been the one keeping her awake?

Noticing my fixed stare, she gently took my hand and pressed a kiss to it.

"You're worried about me, aren't you? Julian, there's no other man in this world worth this much effort from me besides you."

Over the past few days, I had received more than a hundred messages from the wedding planner, Lucien White.

In one video, inside the Maybach chosen as our wedding car, Lucien held the back of Luna's head and kissed her until they were both breathless.

In another, on the stage of our wedding venue, Luna smiled in delight as she accepted a rose from Lucien, who was kneeling on one knee before her.

There was even footage of the bridal suite I had personally decorated. The satin sheets were left in complete disarray.

In the video, Lucien's camera swept across the floor, revealing a pile of discarded condom wrappers.

"I'll clean everything up after Luna falls asleep." He even added a playful emoji.

He acted like a shameless third party with complete confidence.

"Julian, Luna is a successful CEO. Of course she wants to keep a younger guy on the side.

"She doesn't even want to touch you, but every time she's with me, we stay together until the middle of the night. The next day, she even buys me all kinds of supplements. Love and desire can't be separated. Do you really think she loves you?

"As long as you don't cause trouble for me, the title of Luna's husband will guarantee you a lifetime of wealth and comfort. Too bad that's all you'll have left."

Staring at the taunting messages, I took a deep breath and forced down the emotions surging inside me.
