Auren POV

I couldn’t stop staring at her.

Every time she laughed, it wrapped around my ribs and squeezed. Every time she smiled at someone else, I felt like a sinner watching heaven from behind a barred gate. The silver of her gown glowed under the moon, and her skin, sun kissed and radiant, looked like it had been dusted in starlight.

And her lips…Goddess above, her lips. Soft, flushed, and glistening with that sweet apple wine she kept sipping. And I wanted, I needed, to taste them. I couldn’t take it anymore. I found Riven and Kael near the fire pits, playfully arguing over which chef had made the better spiced potatoes.

“Riven. Kael,” I said, stepping between them like a man possessed.

Kael blinked. “Whoa, serious voice. What’s wrong?”

“I want to kiss her,” I blurted. “But I don’t know how. Tell me. Please.”

They stared at me like I’d grown a second pair of wings.

“Oh shit,” Riven whispered. “It’s happening.”

Kael slapped my shoulder. “Alright, alright, breathe. We got you.”

Roach POVThey think I’m just muscle. Just a shadow in the hallways. An assassin for hire. The blade that gets bloody while the royals sip their wine and pretend they’re untouchable.Let them think that.I’ve learned something in all my years crawling through the gutters of the packs and gutting my way through court politics:You don’t need a crown to rule. You just need patience. And poison.Today’s dose was particularly well-placed.I leaned against the cracked window in the east wing of Bloodmark Keep, flicking a silver dagger through my fingers while Kade and his snake of a sister argued about who deserved more power once the Alpha and Luna were finally out of the picture.“Kade, obviously I should be Beta once you take over,” Saria snapped, flipping her glossy white blonde hair like it was armor. “No one trusts that dumbass Gamma anyway. Everyone listens to me.”Kade rolled his eyes, pacing like a caged beast. “You’re not strong enough to lead the warriors.”She sneered. “Please.

Daeira POVI stood at the head of the war table, my hand braced on the dark polished wood, notebook open in front of me, pen tapping out the rhythm of my thoughts. Around me sat the people I trusted most in the world, each one already watching me like they knew something big was coming. And it was. But first? Business.“During the link ritual,” I said, my voice low and clear, “I felt something… off.”Everyone’s backs straightened.“The bonds all came through strong. Steady. Except one.” I met each of their eyes in turn. “It felt wrong. Sludgy. Cold. It didn’t feel like a scared rogue. It felt like a fucking plant. Like someone snuck in during the chaos.”Tarin’s breath caught. “Oh hell no.”Riven swore under his breath. Kael cracked his knuckles.“I want eyes everywhere,” I said firmly. “Until we find the corrupted wolf, no one moves unchecked.”“Done,” Tarin said, flipping open her clipboard with a snap. “I’ll alert the maids immediately. We’ll monitor everyone moving through the kee

Daeira POVI woke up in a tangle of limbs, heat, and the soft, steady sound of three mates breathing beside me.But this time… I didn’t feel small. Or afraid. Or uncertain.I felt like a goddess with her own damn constellation orbiting her.I carefully slid out from between them, taking a moment to admire the sight, Kael’s strong arm draped across my waist, Riven’s wild hair splayed over the pillows, and Auren's wings folded gently behind him as he lay curled toward me, peaceful as moonlight.Last night had been… everything. But today?Today I was Alpha.I padded into the bathroom, brushed my teeth, washed my face, and took a long moment to just breathe. The reflection in the mirror looked more like me than it ever had before, my hazel eyes glowing faintly silver, my high cheekbones flushed, full lips curled in a quiet smile.I reached for one of the gowns I'd had made in secret, saved for a day I felt worthy of it.Today was that day.The gown was black and silver, with a fitted bodi

Daeira POVAuren was trying to be gentle. Trying to savor me. But the moment I whispered his name again, breathed it like a prayer, something inside him snapped. His fingers tightened on my thighs. His pace changed, no longer careful, but urgent, driving, consuming. Our bodies slammed together with rhythm and fire, every thrust deeper, harder, making my back arch and my voice tremble with each ragged breath. His wings flared out behind him, huge and black and glowing faintly at the edges, catching the candlelight like obsidian blades. The pressure inside me coiled, hot and unbearable.“Auren,” I gasped. “Oh gods, don’t stop...”“Never,” he growled. His voice wasn’t soft anymore. It was raw, threaded with desperate need and claiming. “You’re mine. You’re mine, Daeira.”His hands pinned me open, and his hips kept slamming into mine, over and over, faster, harder. The sound of our bodies, the mix of moans and breath and whispered curses, it filled the room like thunder. And then...It hap

Daeira POVI was already trembling when they laid me back against the pillows. My arousal scent perfumed the air and each of the twins groaned when they caught a whiff. I blushed. I forgot wolves can smell that. Hell. The sheets beneath me were warm from my skin and wet from my arousal. The room flickered with candlelight, and the soft music spun between us like a spell.Kael’s hands ran slowly down my sides, and Riven was pressed close at my other side, his mouth at my neck, not kissing, just breathing. Like he needed every piece of me before he could even begin. And Auren? He sat at the edge of the bed, still shirtless, eyes wide and glowing with awe. Like he was witnessing divinity instead of desire. His fingers twitched against his thighs. He wanted to reach for me.He just didn’t know how. Kael lifted his head and looked at him, nodding gently. “Come closer, Auren.”He obeyed, crawling closer until he was kneeling beside my legs, hands resting near my hips like I was made of bre

Daeira POVAuren and I slipped through the glowing celebration like two kids sneaking out after curfew, except instead of mischief, we were dragging behind us the growing tension of an entire galaxy trying not to combust. My hand was still in his, and I swear it was the only thing keeping me upright. Every step closer to the twins made my heartbeat louder. I could barely hear the music over the roar of my own nerves. And then I spotted them. Kael and Riven. Near the edge of the fire pits, surrounded by a small cluster of wolves who were clearly being beaten at something.“Rock,” Kael barked.“Paper,” Riven countered, smirking.“Damn it!” Kael cursed.I had to stifle a laugh as they reset and went again. Twins. Literal weapons of war. Arguing over rock paper scissors like it was a battle for territory. As if they sensed me, of course they sensed me, both of their heads turned in unison. Their eyes locked on mine. And immediately, their expressions shifted. From playful to alert.Riven’
