After they all had dinner Felix and Mercedes excused themselves to go on their run as planned. While they were in the garden, Felix had asked Mercedes to go for a run in wolf form. Mercedes stood in front of the mirror inspecting her appearance. She twisted and turned trying to get a good look from each angle and ran her palm on the fabric of her dress. Her dress was a contrast sequin one shoulder with a mesh overlay hem. She nodded her head in appreciation loving how she looked. She could not recognize the woman in the reflection of the mirror. The night was still young. Felix and Mercedes, we're having the time of their lives. They excused themselves to take a walk together. Hand in hand they strolled further away from where the celebration was. Felix took off his suit and placed it over Mercedes's shoulders. Not that she was feeling cold because werewolves hardly ever get cold but it was a gentlemanly thing to do and he wanted to take care of her. She thanked him and smiled. They continued to walk together in comfortable silence, taking in the cool night breeze. Both of them had plenty to say but neither knew how to say it. Felix was overwhelmed with joy. He was happy that he can now call Mercedes his Luna with pride. He is thankful that that night she was attacked by rogues she survived and landed up in his pack. " Thank you for coming into my life." Both of them were definitely surprised to see each other standing in the middle of the hallway but none of them could say anything but stare. Felix and Mercedes were sitting across from each other in his office. The situation had stabilized and Alexa was fine but just still unconscious. Earlier, when Felix was about to tell Mercedes the truth about her fate, Crystal and Jacob arrived and interrupted their conversation. Crystal tended to Alexa's wounds and Jacob carried her away to the guest room. Now they were left alone but the tension was thick it could be cut with a knife. Mercedes was waiting on Felix to say something but he was quiet and had his head in his hands. That just made her all the more nervous and anxious. The tense atmosphere had nearly faded as all of them were now gathered in the living room. Felix was seated on the couch with Mercedes close to his side. He held her close to him as if she would just disappear at any moment.
