The sudden drop of my shoulders and the pressure of the movement of those muscles have me gasping awake. I try to blink but my eyelids are swollen and crusted shut with blood.
“You are one ugly dude right now.” I hear Aeron’s voice whisper near me, hands grab me under my arms as I sag against a body.
