Chapter 31 - Staying quiet.

Libby POV

Elpseth took one look at me sitting across her Mum at the breakfast table and pulled me outside for girl time.

I was currently pushing her on the swing as she chatted to me about Harry and how baby Angel likes to wake up a lot at night time. It didn’t take long for Rex to join us and I was pushing them on the swings one at a time until Beth came out, offering to help.

I liked being with the children, it was innocent general conversation as they gave me better insight into their little lives. They held no grudges towards me, only love…to them I was Auntie Libby.

Ben was sitting nearby watching us, his eyes remaining on the four of us as we giggled amongst ourselves.

“He seems uncomfortable…How is he?” I whisper to Beth. Ben was sitting the end of a sun lounger, his fingers rubbing at his temples. He didn’t like being here, he felt open and exposed.

“He wants to leave, for us to move again.” Beth replies as she pushes Rex higher, at his request.

“Where will you go?” I follow
