13. Is That You?
Larissa is making drinks for Beatrix, Alan, Aleda and Lake in the kitchen. The woman is preoccupied with her activities, which enable her to brew a fresh flavor for Lake family. She didn't want to disappoint them all, especially Lake.
A smile spread over her face, and then she carried four glasses with trays in her hand. But as she turned, she was startled by Alan's vicious stare. The man stood not far from himself, but there was something about her. The sharp eyes seemed to say that Alan knew her, and was full of questions.
"Is that you?" asked Alan.
Larissa sat still, her brow furrowed. She tried not to be nervous, because if she was nervous then everything would be known, "Me?"
