There is always this regular alpha werewolf who accidentally stumbles onto a newly turned pretty she-wolf who turned out to be his 'mate'. Then he possessively jumps onto her screaming 'mine' and ta-da! That girl's freedom is over and forced to love her newly found mate no matter what he is_she can no longer talk with other males, can't look at another males without pissing off her 'mate' and most importantly she'll be forced to leave with him all of a sudden and sometime she don't even get enough time to properly say goodbye to her family and friends...

OR he angrily shouts at her saying that 'you are not worthy to be my mate or the luna for this pack. Therefore I reject you' making that young she-wolf's life so miserable and then leave her alone to survive herself for the rest of her life!!

Even if it turned out well and they got their happily ever after the she-wolf still had to live under the rules and regulations of her alpha mate no matter how many times he said that they are equals or how deeply he loves her. Always alpha held the highest rank and luna is the second and sometimes even alpha's beta have more power than luna!!! So were is this so called equality???

Seriously...just think about it!! Don't you feel little annoyed by this whole tyrant alpha roles? Don't you feel the anger when they despise the luna even though their main deity_the moon goddess is a female? Don't you feel little tired of this whole stuck up mate bondings where there is no freedom or equality for the females?

Then this is your chance to look out of your box...!!! This is where a lovely yet powerful luna ranks higher than the common alpha... This is where the mate bonds aren't forceful and mates no longer attracts to each other only to have sex out of lust & to make pups. This is where the equality matters.. E X P L A N A T I O N

There are both lycans and werewolves in this story and they both commonly named as 'wolves' in the story. So if there is the term 'wolf/wolves' somewhere, that probably indicates both lycans and werewolves.

Below here are the difference between a lycans and werewolves...

• These are mostly common knowledge I gained through researching mythologies and folklores, but I also did some editing and twisting works to them for writing purposes. So there might be few differences in here than what you can gain through reading old myths and folklores.

Lycan/Lycans (Origin: Greek mythology)

• For a lycan, the transformation to wolf can take place at any time and in any place as they wish.

• They are much more stronger, faster and bigger than a normal werewolf.

• They have more enhanced senses than werewolves.

• Lycans are very smart and intelligent and because of that they always... ALWAYS owned positions as Alphas, Betas, Gammas, Elders, Salutary wolves (pack doctors) and other responsible higher ranked wolves in wolf packs.

• Sliver is not deadly for them as it does to werewolves.

• To kill a lycan, one should have to sever the spine from its body or have to call a vampire to bite its head off.

• They heal way faster than a normal werewolf and therefore it is very hard to cause an injure to a lycan.

Werewolf/Werewolves (Origin: Old English folklore)

• In a werewolf, the normal transformation to wolf takes place on a full moon day, and they cannot restrict the transformation. But in this story they too can transform into a wolf in any time they please, but the full moon day transformation is inevitable one. They can't control or avoid it.

• They are not as strong and fast as a lycan, but still stronger, faster and bigger than a normal wild wolf.

• Their senses are higher than normal wolves but lesser than lycans.

• Werewolves are not as smart as lycan and they are keen in taking orders and obeying them and because of that they usually ranked as Omegas, but can also be trained as hunters, warriors, scouts, boarder patrollers, nurses and guardians.

• A werewolf can be killed with silver objects piercing them into the head or the heart or by a vampire's bite.

• Their healing is not as fast as a lycan, but still they heal impressively fast.

IMPORTANT THINGS ABOUT WOLVES FOR YOU TO NOTE:-

• Most of the time when a lycan shift from a wolf to human, he/she will be covered with a simple Greek attire but sometimes they shift back to human, naturally naked. This ability/gift or rather magic attire appearance privilege is caused by the lycans connection to the ancient gods of Olympus. There is no hard and fixed rule about the way how this works, but this privilege is only valid for lycans. No werewolf can shift back to human with their clothes on.

• Wolfsbane is NOT deadly ONLY for the wolves. It is common poison for both wolves and humans. Therefore I DID NOT used it as a poison for wolves in this story.

• In this story Silver and vampires are the only things which can cause harm to the wolves.

• Vampire venom is not deadly for a wolf but could be painful if it enters the circulatory system. Also if had enough time to enter to the heart, it could turn the wolf into a vampire.

• There are species called as 'half-wolves/ half-were /half-werewolves' in this story. They are humans who were turned into werewolves by another werewolf's bite and they shift into a half-wolf half-human figure only on full moons. They stand on two feet but have features of a wolf and have no control over themselves. They can be killed by any mortal weapon as well as by silver and a vampire's bite.

T H E ' L U N A ' T I T L E

• Here I also used both 'Luna' and 'Alpha Female' titles with very different meanings.

• In this story 'Luna' or 'Royal Luna' is a female lycan who rule over every wolf, both lycans and werewolves. She is like a queen and her word is the final for every living wolf and it doesn't matter which pack the wolf belonged to.

• Even Alphas should bow to her command and respect her no matter what and the Royal Luna's other high ranked wolves, such as her Beta, Gamma and Delta also have more power than a normal Beta, Gamma and a Delta.

• The title 'Royal Luna' probably equals to the title 'Queen' or 'Empress' in here. There could be only ONE Royal Luna exists within a period of time and her mate is called as Alpha or High Alpha and in formal situations her daughters will be addressed as 'Luna' or 'Princess Luna' and her granddaughters will be addressed as 'Little Luna'.

• The next-in-line to become the Royal Luna will be called as 'Beta Luna' and that title is equals to the title 'Crown Princess'.

THE 'ALPHA FEMALE' TITLE

• In here, an 'Alpha's Mate' is called as 'Female Alpha' and she is the matriarch of a wolf pack. It is said that she is equals to an Alpha, but in reality she is lower than Alpha. Maybe even lower than the Beta himself. Every decision she made must go through her Alpha and mate before turning it to an action and final say of a matter is always comes from the Alpha.

IMPORTANT THINGS ABOUT VAMPIRES FOR YOU TO REMEMBER:-

• Vampires generate venom in this story and they use it to fulfill below six tasks:

01) As the basis for their physiology.

02) As a means to paralyze their prey in pain to prevent them from escaping.

03) As a pleasant scent to lure in the vampires' human victims.

04) As a toxin poisonous to animals and shape-shifters.

05) To repair a torn limb of a vampire.

06) To turn someone into a vampire. The victim cannot run so the vampire can kill the victim or allow her/him to change.

• Vampires can reproduce in the normal way and they don't need to turn someone and adopt them as children in this story.

• Also, vampires are very- VERY protective of their children. They value their blood-related family ties above anything else, so it doesn't matter the child is their own or their brother's or sister's; they always- ALWAYS protect the child as well as their mates. But not as wolves, once they had a child of their own the child become their first priority along with their mates. So if you even try to mess with a vampire kid, God bless you!!!

• If a vampire bite an another vampire it could leave a permanent mark on them because of the venom.

• In this story a pure blood vampire can be killed by severing his/her spine or ripping their heart out or by a lycan bite. A werewolf can also cause injuries to a pure blood vampire but the werewolf won't be strong enough to kill him/her.

• Also silver is dangerous for pure blood vampires. A small sliver coated bullet can cause enough injury which could last longer than a normal injury or could end up puting the vampire in a coma and a large amount of sliver in blood stream can cause death.

• A vampire-witch hybrid CAN NOT be killed by silver but can restrain their powers. If you want to kill one you'll have to sever his/her spine. But lycan saliva is toxic for hybrids. It can weaken them and extremely large amount of it can also kill the vampire.

• A vampire-witch-wolf or more specifically a vampire-witch-lycan (A tribrid) CAN NOT be killed or harmed by sliver because their merged genes of a vampire and a wolf. It sort of nulls the effects of sliver when the vampire genes and wolf genes come together. A tribrid can only be killed by severing his/her spine. But wolf_specially lycan saliva could cause harm and it could be toxic to them.

• Above all a royal tribrid is the hardest to kill because they have more connection to the gods _because they have both wolf and vampire blood in them_ than others supernatural species and also they have the blood of the direct descendents of the gods. Therefore to kill them you'll need a weapon made by any kind of celestial metal.

• Examples:

__ Adamantine - Both Greek and Roman

__ Imperial Gold - Roman

__ Bone Steel - Norse

__ Electrum (An alloy which consists gold, silver and small amount of copper) - Egypt

• But after all it is VERY hard to catch a vampire because an average vampire's speed equals to the speed of sound. So killing one is almost impossible and not to mention their super hard skin. They have a skin and bones as hard as diamonds...so...good luck with catching one first and then try to kill him/her.
