KLAY ROSE
"No...don't..." I hugged myself as I crawled backward. "Don't come near me..." I couldn't hear my own voice as I begged Klaus not to come near me.
"No, don't..." I started crying in fear. A lot of things are running inside my mind right now thinking of George and the things that might happen to me right now.
"You are a werewolf..." I muttered, gulping the lump in my throat.
I felt the trunk of the tree at my back and my hands were already shaking, my whole body was wet from the cold and everything was so numb.
My heart was beating so fast but this time it wasn't because I like him, but because I am terrified.
"Stay...away..." I closed my eyes. "What did you do to George? Did you kill him?" My heart was bursting into pain, imagining the things that might happen to George out in the woods.
"Calm down. I am not going to hurt you, Klay." He said, trying to hold me. "Trust me. I was looking for George!"
"No! How could I trust you when you turn into a wild beast?" I yelled, my voice cracked. I felt the cold and it's making my whole body numb. "Werewolf..."
"I am much better than a werewolf," he told me. "I am a Lycan."
I scoffed, my immune system is getting weak now. "Well, isn't that means you are still a wild beast."
"Klay, this isn't the time for that. We can talk about this but you need to live first!"
I wasn't able to continue what I was about to say when different howls were heard around the place. I turned to the forest and the wind suddenly was moving towards us. There were footsteps that sounded like a beast and the raindrops were making noises I couldn't describe.
"Fuck!" I heard him whisper.
But, it wasn't that it caught my attention. It was the explosion. It was loud and clear that it created a blazing light in the sky like fireworks.
My world suddenly stopped, looking in the direction. Silence is all I could hear as I slowly stood up. Perhaps, it was the adrenaline rush that made me dashed back to the convent.
Rozen was surely shouting my name, trying to stop me, yet I kept moving and moving towards the convent.
No, the kids are there. Sisters are there. They cannot die! I need to save them.
The rain was washing away my tears as I ran but it could never wash away the pain inside. It was empty now, like a hollow.
I tripped on my way. "Damn!" I cursed but couldn't even hear my own voice. I tried to stand but could not so I started crawling praying to all the Gods to save them.
Why is this happening? What did I do to deserve this? These images started to flash inside my mind, making my head spinned like crazy. Everything is making me insane.
I didn't know what to do until someone grabbed me from misery.
"Klay! Klay!" He slapped my face. "Come to your senses! Klay!" Rozen is shouting.
I want to open my eyes yet I am drowsy. I slowly fell into a deep sleep hoping that everything is just a dream.
I woke up screaming, panting, and sweating. My head was spinning crazy as I caught my breath. When I looked around, Sister Mary was rushing towards me.
I felt her warm hands on my back. Somehow, I felt relieved seeing her.
"It's a dream, right?" I said, looking at her. She slowly loosen her grip on my back as she sat at the end of my bed, caressing my cheeks.
"I am glad you are safe, dear." She hugged me.
"What..." I blinked, realizing that I was not in my room. The whole place was unfamiliar to me. "Is it real?" I am still in denial. "Then..."
"We are all safe, Klay." She smiled at me. "But..."
"George! Where is George? Did you find him?"
Sister Mary smiled sadly. "I guess he is where he is supposed to be now as the Lord wants him to."
My tears started to fall. It all sank in, the things that happened last night.
"Where are we?" I panicked. "Rozen! He is--"
I was cut off when Rozen went inside. The image of him turning into a werewolf flashed into my mind.
"We are in the New City. Rozen's men helped us escape the convent before the fire broke and he also saved you." Sister Rizza explained, standing behind Rozen.
"No, saved us?" I creased my brow. "Do you know what he is..." I paused. Telling them about what I know might put them in danger.
"We need to go now!" I stood up and almost fell. "Let's leave this place." I pulled Sister Mary, but she stopped me.
"Calm down, Klay. What is happening to you? Rozen allowed us to stay here for a while since they are investigating the case and we have no where---"
"We can find some place to go, but not here."
"Klay, what is this attitude? Should you be thanking Rozen for saving us?"
"How did you know he really saved us? What if he was the reason why George was missing? Do you trust him?" Sister Rizza looked at me in disbelief. I know that she's confused by my sudden indifference towards Rozen when I always told them about him.
Indeed, I like Rozen, but after this...I wasn't sure anymore.
"Sisters, the kids are looking for you. I will talk to Klay and follow you in the dining hall."
Sisters nodded and left me in the care of Rozen who seriously looked at me.
"Are you okay now? Do you feel any pain?"
"Where is George?" I directly asked.
"We are still looking at him." He said.
"Looking at him? Seriously? The Old Town is not that big for you to find him, but you couldn't? Why not tell me then that you ate him alive?"
"I am not a monster, Klay." He seriously looked at me, his eyes begging to believe in me. "We know where George could be but as of the moment, we cannot just go there and--"
"Oh, am I a fool to believe that?" I cut him off. "If you want to save him, you will!"
"They are coming for you, Klay." He quickly said.
"Huh?" I scoffed, something crawled up in my skin. "What are you talking about? Who is coming for me?"
"The Illegitimate Lycan King."
I faked a laugh.
"Say I believe you, why would he come for me when I don't even know him? What would he get from me?"
"Klay, you are my mate."
ROZENI woke up to find myself chained to a wall. I couldn't move my arms or legs, and I had no idea how I got here. As I looked around, I realized that I was in a dimly lit room with only one small window that allowed a faint light to seep in.Suddenly, the door creaked open and my father walked in, his eyes filled with anger and disappointment. I knew why he was here. He didn't want me to save Klay, the one person I loved more than anything in the world."Father, please let me go. I need to save her," I pleaded with him.He just shook his head, "No, Rozen. You're too important to the pack. We can't risk losing you over a human."I couldn't believe what I was hearing. My father, the one who taught me to be kind and compassionate, was willing to let Klay die just to protect the pack's interests."You don't understand, Father. Klay is different. She's not like other humans. She's my mate," I said, trying to make him understand the depth of my feelings for her.My father's expression so
KLAY ROSEAs I opened my eyes, I realized it was just a dream. A nightmare, actually. My heart was racing, and my breathing was heavy. I looked around the dimly lit room and took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down.I got up from the bed and walked towards the window. The moon was shining bright, and the stars were twinkling in the sky. It was a beautiful night, and I felt a sense of peace wash over me. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. But as I opened my eyes, reality hit me like a ton of bricks. I was still a prisoner, and there was no one to rescue me. I sighed heavily and walked back to the bed, feeling defeated.Trevor entered the room with a tray of food. "Good morning, Klay," he said with a smirk.I glared at him. "What do you want from me, Trevor?" I asked, my voice laced with anger."I want you to accept my offer, Klay," he said, placing the tray on the table."I will never accept your offer," I said firmly.Trevor shrugged. "Suit yourself. But remember, I hold a
KLAY ROSEI sat in the corner of the small, dark room, feeling hopeless and defeated. Trevor had been holding me hostage for what seemed like forever, and I had no idea if anyone was looking for me. I tried to stay strong and keep my head up, but with each passing day, my hope began to fade.Trevor would come in every so often to check on me and offer me food and water, but I never accepted it. I couldn't bring myself to eat or drink anything that he offered me, knowing that it was all part of his plan to keep me weak and submissive. As I sat there, I heard footsteps outside the door, and my heart began to race with excitement and fear. Could it be someone coming to save me? Or was it just Trevor coming to taunt me again? The door creaked open, and my heart sank as Trevor walked in with a smug grin on his face. "No one's coming for you, Klay," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "You're all alone, and you always will be."I gritted my teeth and glared at him, refusing to let him
ROZENI groaned in pain as I slowly regained consciousness. My eyes fluttered open to darkness, and it took a moment for them to adjust. I tried to move, but a sharp pain shot through my body, causing me to hiss in pain. I remembered the attack at the wedding, and the last thing I remembered was being hit by one of Trevor's wolves.I tried to assess my injuries, but I couldn't even move my head. I was paralyzed, and the realization hit me hard. I was completely helpless. I tried to shout for help, but my voice came out as a hoarse whisper."Hello? Is anyone there?" I called out, but there was no response.I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down. I needed to think clearly and come up with a plan. I couldn't just sit here and wait for someone to rescue me. I had to find a way to escape.I forced myself to stay calm and focused. My mind raced as I tried to remember everything I knew about Trevor and his pack. I knew they had a hideout deep in the forest, and t
KLAY ROSEI couldn't believe it. Just as I was walking down the aisle, ready to start a new life with Rozen, Trevor and his pack of werewolves appeared, ready to ruin everything. Micah and the kids were screaming in terror, and chaos broke out.I drew my sword, ready to defend myself and my loved ones. Rozen stood beside me, holding his own sword, his eyes filled with determination."Trevor, what do you want?" I shouted at him, my voice shaking with anger and fear."I want you, Klay," he replied, a sinister grin spreading across his face. "You're the key to unlocking the power of the lycans. With you by my side, I'll be unstoppable."I felt a surge of disgust at his words. I would never ally myself with someone as evil as Trevor."You'll never have me, Trevor," I spat at him. "I'll fight you with every last breath in my body."We clashed swords, sparks flying in every direction. Rozen joined in the fight, battling against the other werewolves that Trevor had brought with him.As we fo
KLAY ROSEThe day of our wedding was fast approaching, and Rozen and I were busy with the preparations. Micah and the kids were there to help us, too. It was going to be a small wedding, just close friends and family, but we still wanted it to be perfect.Micah was in charge of the decorations and she did an amazing job. The beachfront was adorned with beautiful flowers and ribbons, giving it a dreamy and romantic ambiance. The kids, on the other hand, helped us with the food and the cake. It was a lot of work, but we all had fun doing it together. As I was getting ready, I couldn't help but feel nervous. I knew I was marrying the love of my life, but I couldn't shake off the feeling of worry. What if something bad happens? What if Rozen's father attacks again? What if we can't protect ourselves and the kids?Rozen noticed my unease and came up to me, taking my hands in his. "Hey, what's wrong?" he asked, looking at me with concern."I'm just worried, Rozen," I admitted, looking into
