KLAY ROSE
“George?” I shouted. “George, where are you?” My voice is racing with the loud noise around the convent. The storm hadn’t stopped for almost an hour. The thunder and lightning kept on battling up in the sky.
“George, are you hiding? Come on, Sister Klay is here. Don’t be afraid.” I continued saying while passing in the hallway.
I checked every room on the second floor but he wasn’t there. I also went to the dining area, the living room, the prayer room, storage room, music room, and every corner of our house yet there was no sight of George nor Rozen.
It crept me out. What if Rozen abducted George? It is not impossible but thinking of a motive, why would he do that? He’s just a kid.
“Rozen?” I tried calling his name but there was no reply. “Rozen, are you there?”
There was no response until I reached the end of the hallway. I need to retrace my steps again, yet there’s still no shadow of George nor Rozen. I was already on my way to the main hall when I passed by the veranda. I was supposed to continue when I felt like someone was standing there.
When I looked back, the curtain was swaying, showing me the garden. That’s when I realized that the glass door was cracked open.
“George…” I whispered. “Did he get out?”
I came back to the main hall to check if they found him, but there was no sight of him and Rozen. The kids were already lying on the floor, covered with blankets, with Sister Mary singing a lullaby so they could at least forget the storm yet it wasn't that helpful because the younger kids were still crying.
I shook my head when I stared at the sisters, "I'll go and check the back hall now."
"No, let me check it." Sister Rizza said. "Just wait for me here."
"It's okay, Sister Rizza," I said, grabbing my cardigan on the couch. "I will also look for Rozen. Did you not see him?" I was worried and although blaming someone when I don't have any evidence is not good, what if?
"We pray that both of him and George are in good condition." Sister Mary signed the cross.
"I should go with you," Sister Rizza said again.
"No, the kids need you better than I. I know my way and they are afraid of the dark. I will come back as soon as possible. I will also make sure all the locks are secured." I said, hurrying up.
"Come back as soon as possible, Klay. We are also trying to reach the police."
I nodded. "Just the back hall."
I wore my cardigan and quickly rushed to the back hall first to check but everything's locked and there was no sight of both of them.
Everything was creeping me out, but I tried to be stronger. I prayed that we would find him immediately.
"Rozen? George?" I called again even though I am sure they are no longer inside the convent.
The convent might be a bit huge for us to hear the voices considering the rain, too, yet if George is here then he would have probably cried and ran to us, same with Rozen. Which only explains that they are no longer inside the convent.
I picked the umbrella and the keys, locking the glass door as soon as I went out of the veranda. The wind was hustling, so it was useless as the umbrella had been blown away.
I am also soaking wet right now, but I continued walking around with a lamp just to find George. He might be scared somewhere.
Maybe Rozen went out to look for him, that is what I am praying for.
The whole place was dark, and the rain was keeping my eyes blurry as water started to drip in my face. I could feel the chills all over my body including the fear that's building up in my chest as I walked further away from the convent.
I wasn't sure until where I was supposed to find him, yet my feet just kept on moving and moving. I called for both of them but my voice was already shaking.
"George..." I could no longer shout and my whole body started to feel numb because of the cold. There was still no progress and I wasn't sure if I was on the right track.
I guess I have to give up now. I try to retrace my step back, trying to still open my eyes when I step on something.
I placed the lamp on that certain side...checking what it was. I instantly dropped the lamp and moved backward upon realizing that it was a body...drenched in blood.
I was catching my breath as I moved backward, trying to scream...but there were no words. My head started giving me these images again. My stomach twirling,
crumpling my body, and I just moved around and around until a hand held my hand.
"Hmm...." He covered my mouth, stopping me from screaming. My whole body was moving up and down. I clawed my finger in his arms, struggling to let me go until I heard him speak.
"Stay still." It was Rozen.
I tapped his shoulder for him to let me go. He didn't, instead, he slowly pulled me closer to him.
"Ssssh..." He whispered again. "There's something out there and I need you to stay calm." He slowly uncovered my mouth. "Don't shout."
I was finally able to breathe as I opened my eyes. It's dark and I still cannot see. Although, I can hear something unexplainable.
"What's happening..." I said. But wasn't able to continue when we both heard a howl from nearby.
My eyes widened. "What--"
"Let's run. We need to go back."
"But, George..." I started panicking, but I couldn't stop as he was dragging me. The more he dragged me, the more I heard the howling like it was following me or it was within us.
We kept on running in circles. I could only hear my heart beating and the rest seemed to be in silence.
Someone is following us. I am sure of that.
"Don't look back!" He warned me, but it was too late.
I looked back and saw those flashing red eyes, jumping towards us. Fangs appeared ready to devour me, only that another fang ripped it off.
I blinked. It was a wolf.
No, not that. The wolf. Rozen...Rozen turned to a werewolf!
ROZENI woke up to find myself chained to a wall. I couldn't move my arms or legs, and I had no idea how I got here. As I looked around, I realized that I was in a dimly lit room with only one small window that allowed a faint light to seep in.Suddenly, the door creaked open and my father walked in, his eyes filled with anger and disappointment. I knew why he was here. He didn't want me to save Klay, the one person I loved more than anything in the world."Father, please let me go. I need to save her," I pleaded with him.He just shook his head, "No, Rozen. You're too important to the pack. We can't risk losing you over a human."I couldn't believe what I was hearing. My father, the one who taught me to be kind and compassionate, was willing to let Klay die just to protect the pack's interests."You don't understand, Father. Klay is different. She's not like other humans. She's my mate," I said, trying to make him understand the depth of my feelings for her.My father's expression so
KLAY ROSEAs I opened my eyes, I realized it was just a dream. A nightmare, actually. My heart was racing, and my breathing was heavy. I looked around the dimly lit room and took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down.I got up from the bed and walked towards the window. The moon was shining bright, and the stars were twinkling in the sky. It was a beautiful night, and I felt a sense of peace wash over me. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. But as I opened my eyes, reality hit me like a ton of bricks. I was still a prisoner, and there was no one to rescue me. I sighed heavily and walked back to the bed, feeling defeated.Trevor entered the room with a tray of food. "Good morning, Klay," he said with a smirk.I glared at him. "What do you want from me, Trevor?" I asked, my voice laced with anger."I want you to accept my offer, Klay," he said, placing the tray on the table."I will never accept your offer," I said firmly.Trevor shrugged. "Suit yourself. But remember, I hold a
KLAY ROSEI sat in the corner of the small, dark room, feeling hopeless and defeated. Trevor had been holding me hostage for what seemed like forever, and I had no idea if anyone was looking for me. I tried to stay strong and keep my head up, but with each passing day, my hope began to fade.Trevor would come in every so often to check on me and offer me food and water, but I never accepted it. I couldn't bring myself to eat or drink anything that he offered me, knowing that it was all part of his plan to keep me weak and submissive. As I sat there, I heard footsteps outside the door, and my heart began to race with excitement and fear. Could it be someone coming to save me? Or was it just Trevor coming to taunt me again? The door creaked open, and my heart sank as Trevor walked in with a smug grin on his face. "No one's coming for you, Klay," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "You're all alone, and you always will be."I gritted my teeth and glared at him, refusing to let him
ROZENI groaned in pain as I slowly regained consciousness. My eyes fluttered open to darkness, and it took a moment for them to adjust. I tried to move, but a sharp pain shot through my body, causing me to hiss in pain. I remembered the attack at the wedding, and the last thing I remembered was being hit by one of Trevor's wolves.I tried to assess my injuries, but I couldn't even move my head. I was paralyzed, and the realization hit me hard. I was completely helpless. I tried to shout for help, but my voice came out as a hoarse whisper."Hello? Is anyone there?" I called out, but there was no response.I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down. I needed to think clearly and come up with a plan. I couldn't just sit here and wait for someone to rescue me. I had to find a way to escape.I forced myself to stay calm and focused. My mind raced as I tried to remember everything I knew about Trevor and his pack. I knew they had a hideout deep in the forest, and t
KLAY ROSEI couldn't believe it. Just as I was walking down the aisle, ready to start a new life with Rozen, Trevor and his pack of werewolves appeared, ready to ruin everything. Micah and the kids were screaming in terror, and chaos broke out.I drew my sword, ready to defend myself and my loved ones. Rozen stood beside me, holding his own sword, his eyes filled with determination."Trevor, what do you want?" I shouted at him, my voice shaking with anger and fear."I want you, Klay," he replied, a sinister grin spreading across his face. "You're the key to unlocking the power of the lycans. With you by my side, I'll be unstoppable."I felt a surge of disgust at his words. I would never ally myself with someone as evil as Trevor."You'll never have me, Trevor," I spat at him. "I'll fight you with every last breath in my body."We clashed swords, sparks flying in every direction. Rozen joined in the fight, battling against the other werewolves that Trevor had brought with him.As we fo
KLAY ROSEThe day of our wedding was fast approaching, and Rozen and I were busy with the preparations. Micah and the kids were there to help us, too. It was going to be a small wedding, just close friends and family, but we still wanted it to be perfect.Micah was in charge of the decorations and she did an amazing job. The beachfront was adorned with beautiful flowers and ribbons, giving it a dreamy and romantic ambiance. The kids, on the other hand, helped us with the food and the cake. It was a lot of work, but we all had fun doing it together. As I was getting ready, I couldn't help but feel nervous. I knew I was marrying the love of my life, but I couldn't shake off the feeling of worry. What if something bad happens? What if Rozen's father attacks again? What if we can't protect ourselves and the kids?Rozen noticed my unease and came up to me, taking my hands in his. "Hey, what's wrong?" he asked, looking at me with concern."I'm just worried, Rozen," I admitted, looking into
KLAY ROSEI was sitting on the couch, reading a book when Rozen came in and whispered in my ear, "Get dressed, we're going out tonight." I looked up and saw the excitement in his eyes. I couldn't resist but to smile and get ready for whatever surprise he had planned for me.I dressed up in my favorite black dress, and Rozen picked me up at our doorstep. He blindfolded me and took me to an unknown location. I could hear the sound of waves and the breeze of the ocean. He guided me to a spot, and when he removed the blindfold, I saw a table set up on the sand, with candles lit up around it. It was like a scene from a romantic movie.I sat down and looked at him, amazed by the effort he put into this surprise. He had cooked all my favorite dishes, and the aroma of the food filled my nose. As we were enjoying our meal, he started playing a guitar and sang a song that he had written for me. I couldn't believe that he had written a song for me, and as he sang, my eyes started to well up with
KLAY ROSEI woke up to the sound of urgent knocking on the door. I groggily made my way to the door and opened it to see Micah's worried face. "Klay, the kids and the sisters are being attacked by werewolves!" she said, panting. My heart sank at her words. "What?! Where? Are they okay?" I asked, my mind racing."They're at the abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. We need to go now," she said, pulling me towards the door.I quickly got dressed and Rozen joined us as we hurried towards the warehouse. As we got closer, I could hear the sounds of a struggle and my heart started pounding in my chest. I ran towards the entrance and saw the sisters and the kids huddled in a corner, with a group of werewolves surrounding them.I didn't hesitate and charged towards them, my powers flaring up. Rozen was right behind me, and together we took on the werewolves, trying to protect the innocent ones. The battle was intense and grueling, but we managed to defeat the werewolves with our combi
KLAY ROSEI was lying down on the bed, staring at the ceiling as Rozen was sitting next to me, holding my hand. It has been a few days since the incident with Rozen’s father and we were both still recovering from our injuries. The atmosphere in the room was tense and quiet, neither of us wanting to break the silence.I turned to look at Rozen and saw that he was deep in thought, his brows furrowed. I knew he was probably thinking about his father and what had happened, but I didn’t want to bring it up and make things worse.Instead, I squeezed his hand and said, “Hey, you don’t have to think about anything right now. Just rest with me.”Rozen looked at me and gave a small smile, “Thanks, Klay. I’m just glad you’re okay.”“I’m okay because you were there to protect me,” I replied, giving his hand another squeeze. We stayed like that for a while, just holding hands and enjoying each other’s company. It was in moments like this that I realized how much Rozen meant to me, and how much I l
