Synopsis

PROLOGUE
My baby was gone because of him. I looked at Asher with nothing but pure hatred. Everything was his fault. I was always in danger because of him, my mate.
"Lulu, calm down. You are hurt, you have to calm down. Please." How could he tell me to calm down? My baby was gone because of him.
"Should I calm down? My baby is gone because of you!" I sobbed and pushed him anyway even though he didn't budge. I didn't have the strength to try doing it again.
He was shocked when he heard the word "baby". I didn't know why I blamed him but I just wanted to pour everything on him. I hated everyone that was around me. They all said they loved me but they lied.

My head started swimming around and I felt light-headed but I willed myself to stay conscious.
"Deliciae, please speak clearly. That can't be right. You never mentioned anything about a baby to me." He was terrified and hurt. It was easy to tell.
I wanted to comfort him but I couldn't. I looked behind him and saw his mother staring at me and I thought I saw a small smirk on her face but I couldn't be sure. It could have been a trick of the light or something.
"Say something, Luna!" Little tears dropped from his eyes, his beautiful eyes but I couldn't see past the hate.
Something was wrong but I was too drowsy to think clearly or offer my mate a reply. At last, I was pulled into darkness and the sounds around me slowly waned.
