"I want you to be Alora's nanny from today onwards" he says.

What! Did I hear him right?.

Well, I don't think I did.

Maybe I am just thinking it?.

Maybe it's just some hallucination?.

"You said what now?" I ask, still not sure I heard him right.

He didn't answer me as usual.

Well, maybe I maybe I must have heard him wrong.

I was ready to turn and leave when he finally gets up.

I'm sure he is leaving the dining room. Well, let me just wait for him to pass then.

He starts walking over to the door, which I was standing next to but at the last moment, he walks over to me and stood before me, way close to me that he is invading my personal space.

With a huge body like his, that a foot away seems so close.

I moved away from him and created more space between us. I wanted to add more but then, I hit the wall.

I prayed that he wouldn't move an inch closer.

And for the first time, he didn't.
