His Fears

Author’s POV

Elena had just come out of shower and was wrapping the towel around her when she received a call from Joanna.

“Hey…”

“Hi Elena, I have told Aslan that you will be joining me for lunch. If he bothers you, let me know.”

Elena bit her cheek. She knew another argument with him was coming, because he will never let her step out of the house so easily. She talked to Jo for a minute and then hung up.

She stood there talking, and Aslan who had just come to the room after his workout, watched her. She was not even properly wrapped up and talking to his sister. Was it so important a call?

“So, she is so eager to go and has already made up her mind?” he thought.
