The Bitter Truth

Elena’s POV

She woke up as her bladder was screaming, but if only it had been easy. A giant was on top of her., making her breath coming short. She pushed his heavy arm and sat up half, only to remove his naked leg which was lying across hers.

“Please Aslan, get off me.” She whimpered and he removed his leg. She ran to the bathroom and sighed in relief as soon as her bladder emptied. She washed her face, adjusted her nightdress and came back to room. He was looking at her with half-opened eyes. She knew he was finding it hard to sleep. Elena had hidden his medicines and had made him promise that he won’t take them. But he had a condition that she will allow him to sleep hugging her. He was doing it already, so there was no point in refusing.

He motioned with his eyes for her to come closer and she slid into bed, but didn’t lie down. He held her midriff and fell asleep in seconds with his head in her lap.
