Present-The Wedding Day

Aslan’s ears could listen to her screams and he smiled. He refused to leave the chhurch. And Derek’s men were beating him while Elena cried her eyes out. She was sobbing now.

“Accept Elena, you love me.” Aslan spoke between his heavy breathing. A trail of blood was travelling from his forehead, passed his cheekbone, and almost stopped near his chin. His shoulder was also bleeding and the chaplain was perplexed watching such horror in front of his eyes.

“I love you, Aslan. I love you. Please just go away. Don’t get hurt.” Elena cried. The man had a plank in his hand and was about to hit Aslan, but this time, he held the man’s hand and stood up. “As long as you love me, sunshine, I will die happily.”

But Aslan didn’t see Faiz who joined his hands and hit Aslan behind his head. Aslan crumpled down on the ground and Elena’s screams filled the church.
