Chapter 43: Unthinkable

I took everything I had not to shift in the middle of the dining hall. Luckily, Delaney wrapped her arms and her aura around me. I wanted to avoid hurting this family of mine, so I darted out of the dining room and shifted into Zues.

Vampires!!!!

Attacking my FUCKING PACK!!!! Are they crazy? Do they have a damn death wish!!!!!

Zues is pissed and tearing through every damn vampire he sees. Delaney is inside getting the elderly, children and untrained wolves into the underground bunker under the pack house that only pack members know about. I keep thinking that that’s my mother’s job. Where the fuck is she?

So I'm glad she's inside and safe. I see Kylo run out and transform into Julius, and I never realized how huge he was until now. He's like two inches smaller than Zues, and we are Alpha's.

I focus on this duo we are becoming, dodging attacks, throwing each other openings and just ripping through everything in our wake.
