As Brian and his minions' mocking laughter echoed through his ears and the hall, Josh felt a familiar surge of anger build up within him. This wasn't the first time Brian had humiliated him, the previous year something like this had happened, and every time he remembered it, it felt like a fresh wound.

The only difference between now and back then, was that he didn't have the strength to defend himself back then, but now things were different. Lately, Josh had started to have confidence in himself, unlike when he was broke.

His anger continuing to rise, Josh subconsciously clenched his fists, his jaw tightening with each new insult that Brian and his friends said.
