Alexander's Request

Beta James was impatiently waiting for Alexander's arrival when we arrived at the office. They had been mind linking each other ever since we left the infirmary. I was sitting on pins and needles wondering what was happening.

"How many dead?" Alexander growled once we approached the office.

"Ten wolves with two survivors."

"Are you serious?" Alexander balked at the figure.

"I wouldn't joke about something so serious," Beta James replied gruesomely. "The survivors are on the way to the infirmary."

"I just fucking came from there," Alexander growled. "I could've gotten a statement from them."

"Don't worry about it. I'll get the statement myself."

"Lockdown has been initiated, yes?"

"Yes. The Luna Games has been suspended and the Council has been notified," Beta James answered.

"This is a fucking nightmare," he growled.

I couldn't help but agree.

"Why haven't they attacked yet? What are they waiting on?" Alexander curiously asked as he consulted a map of the pack lands.
