Sienna’s Point of View

“Okay, bug, are you ready?”

I ask as Aiden and I walk up the steps to the school. He nods his head excitedly as he practically bounces up the steps.

“I'm ready! Do you think I’ll make friends today?”

He asks, and I hear the slight nervousness in his voice. I crouch down to his level to fix his jacket zipper.

“Of course you will, baby. You make friends everywhere you go.”

I say, smiling at him. He leans closer to me.

“Do you think that they will like my dragon drawing?”

He asks in a loud whisper and I laugh softly as we continue to make our way towards his class.

“If they don’t, then they don’t know what good art is.”

I say. He grins at me.

We stop in front of his class and I crouch down again.

"Well, here we are. You be good today, okay?"

I say and he nods my head. I pull him closer to me, hugging him and he hugs me back tightly.

"I'll see you after my shift, okay?"

I ask and he nods his head.

"Okay, bye mom!"
