"Follow her," Frey demanded.

She read my mind.

I deliberately allowed her to move a bit further away from me before following her behind. I kept my distance so she wouldn't get my scent and figure out I was stalking her.

My thoughts knew she wanted to come into the hospital for something dubious and after seeing me she changed her mind. I needed to find out what exactly she wanted there or her initial motive for seeking her so-called refugee in the pack where I live, out of all other packs.

I never really liked my cousin Jasmine. Ever since we were pups, she always caused trouble and lied about things. So when Jasmine showed up at our pack lands hurt, I didn't believe her story.

I decided to follow Jasmine secretly to see what she was doing. At first, she stopped by the river and stared across for a long time. Then on the big hill, I saw Jasmine look down at our field with a face I didn't understand.

Jasmine went to all the important places, but why? As the supposedl
