Scott’s Point of View

Marcus walks nexf me, stretching his shoulders as we make our way back from training.

“You pushed them hard today.”

He says, glancing at me.

“They needed it.”

I say, shrugging.

“They were about to collapse.”

“They’ll thank me later.”

I say, shrugging again and he laughs.

“They were cursing your name, Scott.”

He says and I smirk.

“They always do.”

I say and he chuckles.

“Fair point.”

There’s a brief silence before he glances at me again.

“So...”

  • The Luna That Survived    Chapter 44

Sienna’s Point of View The café is warm when I step inside, filled with the hum of voices and the scent of freshly baked bread. Emma waves me over as soon as I walkin, her blonde hair pulled into a messy bun, her smile wide. “There you are! I was beginning to think you ditched me.” She teases. I laugh softly as I slide into the seat across from her. “You would just hunt me down if I did.” “You are right about that.” She says, grinning at me. “So, what are we having today? Sandwiches? Salads? Don’t even try to say soup because I am starving.” I rolled my eyes at her. “Sandwiches sound good. Something with actual substance.” “Perfect.” She says, waving the waitress over. "Hello there, what can I get you two today? She asks with a smile. “Hi, can I get a toated chicken mayo with cheese, please. And an vanilla iced coffee.” Emma says and the waitress nods her head as she scribbles on her pad before looking at me. "What about you?" She asks me with

They’ve been here a week now.” He says and I glance at him. “Good. They are settling in great.” I say and he nods his head slowly. “Good.” There is another short pause. “And how are you… with her being here?” He asks and I frown slightly. “I don’t know what you mean.” I say and he gives me a look. “Yeah, you do.” “I really don’t.” I say, and he sighs, shaking his head. “Scott, you were crazy about this woman when w

Scott’s Point of View I flip through the file in front of me, scanning line after line. “This doesn’t add up…” I mutter under my breath, grabbing a pen and circling a few notes. A knock sounds on the door. “Come in.” I call out without looking up. The door opens and Marcus steps inside. “You’re still buried in paperwork?” He asks and I glance up at him. “Unfortunately.” I mutter, running a hand through my hair as he leans against the doorframe. “You’ve been in here all morning.” “And I’ll be here all afternoon if this keeps up.” I say with a sigh and he chuckles. “You love it.” “I tolerate it.” “That’s not what it looks like.” “It’s exactly what it is.” He walks in, dropping into the chair across from my desk. “What are you working on?” “Clinic reports.” I mumble and he groans. “That sounds exciting.” “It’s not.” “So why are you doing it yourself?” “Because the last report they submitted had three errors and two missing sections.” “Fa

  • The Luna That Survived    Chapter 41

Bianca’s Point of ViewI stand outside of Asher’s office, trying to take deep breaths to calm myself down. The image of Daniel, Emily and my mother hanging on the shaming post flashes through my mind again and I shake my head, trying to get the images out of my head. My anxiety has reached new levels. Damon keeps texting me, at least four times a day, pictures of him torturing them. And to top it all off, Asher has barely spoken to me since he yelled at me over Sienna. I have my suspicions, though I'm still not sure what exactly happened between them, but Sienna and Aiden have since transferred to another pack. I thought with her gone Asher would be less distracted, but I swear it has only gotten worse. He avoids me even more now if that's possible, he snaps at little things, and not just with me, with everyone. Dealing with him these days... you don't know what you are getting. I take a final deep breath before squaring my shoulders, putting on my best smile and knocking on

  • The Luna That Survived    Chapter 40

Bianca’s Point of View After walking away from Asher, I decided to help around the house, trying to keep my mind occupied. Currently I am in the kitchen, mixing cake matter, and I try to focus on mixing the batter in front of me, anything to keep my mind from spiraling, but it doesn’t work. It keeps circling back to the conversation with Asher’s mother. If she keeps this up, and she keeps refusing, Asher might never make me his Luna. I need to find a way to get her to stop from trying to postpone Asher making me his luna. Asher.... My mind drifts back to how weird he has been acting all morning... And the way he didn’t come to his room last night. The way Jake kept shuffling, barely able to look at me when I asked where Asher was. He told me he was working begore quickly leaving me alone in the hallway. And then there was that smell coming from Asher that he played off when he finally came to his room this morning before asking me to wait for him so we can have bre

Bianca’s Point of View "I was thinking, maybe we can talk to my mother today and discuss your luna ceremony?" Asher suddenly says from next to me and I look at him in surprise. "Really?" I ask and he nods his head. "Yes, really." He says and I frown slightly as I look at him. "Is everything okay with you?" I ask skeptically. He has been acting strange all morning. First he brought me some flowers, and then he decided that we would have some breakfast alone in the garden. He even arranged for some ice-cream. And now he wants to go talk to his mother, after he has been avoiding it for weeks? He lets out a nervous laugh and nods his head quickly. "Yeah, I'm fine. Why?" He asks and I arch a brow at him. "Honestly, you have been acting weird all morning." I say honestly and I see some like guilt flash in his eyes, and I frown. He sighs, running a hand through his hair. "I know. I'm sorry. I just realized how unfair I have been to you, and I would really lik

Bianca’s Point of View There is a soft knock on my door, but before I can even speak my mother’s voice comes through the door. "Bianca, it's me." "Come in." I say softly and she pushes the door open. She close the door behind her and gives me a small smile. "Emily told you me you haven't eat

Scott’s Point of View There is a knock on my door and I answer without looking up. "Come in." I mutter and the door opens. “They came back.” Marcus’s voice cuts through the silence. I nod my head, still without looking at him. “I know.” I mutter as I stare down at the map spread acros
