Zelda's POV

I was dragged out of Leah’s office like a common criminal, shoved through the hallway while laughter echoed behind me. My hair hung in tangled strands around my face, and the crushed green leaves she had forced into my mouth still clung to my lips.

My eyes burned with tears I refused to let fall.

I watched helplessly as Mia was shoved into her room. The heavy iron door slammed shut, followed by the loud click of a large key turning in the lock.

Then it was my turn.

A rough shove sen

  • The Luna They Buried    Under Her Bed

ZELDA'S POVI lingered at the door longer than I should have, tying the scarf tighter around my hair until only my eyes showed. My palms were slick against the tray, the porcelain cups rattling softly with every breath I took. Finally, I pushed the door open.Leah and her minion sat curled together on the settee, giggling over something on a folded slip of paper. I bent my head low and kept my steps small and even, the way the other servants did, and they didn't so much as glance up. I moved forward, the scent of mango juice sharp and sweet in my nose."I blame that useless servant," Leah said, laughing so hard she had to press a hand to her chest. "If she had come at the right time, we would have gotten to watch the real show.""I know, right?" her friend said, leaning in. "I wanted to watch the Alpha's face when he saw his mate lying with his greatest enemy."I froze mid-step. They were talking about me. The realization hit like cold water down my spine, and my hand jerked before I

  • The Luna They Buried    Just A Little Punishment

ZELDA'S POV"Get the hell out of here. You disgust me."Those were the exact words Vance spat at me before he packed my belongings into a battered suitcase and threw them out onto the corridor floor. I walked through the valley of shame with only Mia at my side, her small hand gripping mine like she was afraid I'd shatter if she let go. Servants lined the halls, whispering behind cupped palms, some not even bothering to lower their voices, until I was shut back inside my old room.No one believed me. No one listened. I was called names to my face, sneered at, glared at like something that had crawled up from the gutter. Even the servants who brought my meals couldn't resist twisting the knife, setting the tray down with a smirk and a whispered joke. "She wanted to have both at the same time." "Even pregnancy couldn't stop her from spreading her legs."One evening, when I couldn't swallow another bitter word, I forced myself down to Vance's office, my hands trembling against the cold

  • The Luna They Buried    Caught In a Confusion

ZELDA'S POVHis lips tasted different. Wrong. And I felt different too, like I'd been poured into someone else's skin.My hands slid around his neck, pulling him closer, my waist rolling against the hard line of his thighs. Heat climbed through me in waves I couldn't name, spreading low in my belly, prickling under my skin until I wanted to claw out of my own body. I wanted the ache to stop. I wanted it to never stop. I wanted relief so badly my hands were shaking. He was rough, too rough, and somehow that only made me want more. My fingers found his collar and started working it loose. Then I heard it.Boom.The door slammed open so hard it cracked against the wall, and the sound sent a jolt of ice straight through the fire in my veins."What the hell is going on here?"Vance.Even through the fog clouding my mind, even with my vision swimming, I knew that voice anywhere.Reality crashed into me all at once. The man I'd been kissing wasn't Vance. It had never been Vance. My legs buck

  • The Luna They Buried    Feeling So Hot

AUTHOR'S POV"If I knew saying a few petty words would get me mind-blowing sex, I would have started early." Leah twirled her chair side to side, her mind still tangled in memories of the night before. Vance had given it to her like never before."Girl, you are so naughty." One of her friends laughed, tossing a folded paper at the zoning-out Leah."Don't blame me, girl. If you were there, you wouldn't remain the same," Leah said, a slow smile spreading across her face. Her other friend rolled her eyes. "Same way he's been fucking the human." The girl beside her shoved her shoulder, but she only sighed. "Don't act surprised. I hear her screams from miles away."Leah's smile vanished. Her legs, which had been resting lazily on the table, dropped to the floor, and her fists clenched so tight her knuckles paled. "Well, not for long," she said, eyes narrowing. "He will be all mine soon."Mia, meanwhile, had been restless since the whole Leah situation started. She refused to believe anythi

  • The Luna They Buried    Leah The Actress

AUTHOR'S POVZelda kept waiting for the morning Leah's madness would break, for whatever had gotten into her to finally let go. Instead, it tightened its grip. Leah showed up at her door almost every day now, a paper bag of breakfast warm in her hands, the smell of fresh bread curling in ahead of her before she even said a word. She lingered in ways Zelda didn't know how to file away. She talked pack business like the two of them had always been trusted with each other's secrets. She laughed easily, tucked herself close on the couch, sifted through Zelda's clothes with an opinion on every piece, even brought up baby shopping like it was the most natural thing between them. Zelda's stomach turned each time. One afternoon Leah stayed through the whole of lunch, elbows on the table, chin propped in her palm, talking like there was nowhere else in the world she needed to be."I would love for you to join the women's sports club this weekend," Leah said, her smile arriving a beat too fast.

  • The Luna They Buried    The Peace Offering

AUTHOR’S POVZelda had finally come out after spending long, agonizing hours in the bathroom, pressing her ear against the door and peeking through the peephole every few minutes before she finally gathered enough courage to step out.She dragged her numb body across the room, quickly climbed onto the bed, and lay there, staring at the ceiling. The same bed that carried memories she couldn’t seem to stop thinking about, memories that made her thighs clench together as heat rushed through her body. Before she knew it, she was giggling and rolling around on the bed like a lovesick fool when a sudden knock sounded from the door. She sat up immediately, her smile disappearing.Who was it this time? Was it Leah? Vance? Or worse… Alpha Black? She stood up and walked quietly toward the door, pressing her ear against it to see if she could hear any voice on the other side, but there was nothing, only another knock.“It’s Mia,” a voice whispered.Relief washed over her immediately. Zelda quick
