Author's POV

Kiara couldn’t utter another word. The more she tried to defend herself, the more truths seemed to come to light, leaving her with fewer and fewer excuses.

Finally, Vance couldn’t take it anymore.

He slammed his hand hard against the table, making Kiara and Zelda both flinch in fear.

“If you won’t talk now, I know exactly how to make you,” Vance said coldly.

The door swung open, and two guards stepped in.

Author’s POVDAYS EARLIERAfter the night Zelda saw Leah with the doctor, Leah decided it was time to give the Alpha a gift he would never forget. That same night, she made her way to her secret prison, the one everyone believed had been destroyed during the reign of the former Alpha, Vance’s father. She had been careful to keep the place hidden from everyone, ensuring that no one would ever suspect it still existed. Before entering, she looked around to make sure no one was watching her. Only when she was certain the coast was clear did she step inside. The moment she entered, her eyes fell on the young lady seated in the corner of the cage. It was the same girl she had tortured countless times whenever she felt like it, but today was different. Olivia had been cleaned up, and she was even dressed in decent clothes.Leah couldn’t help the small smile that crept onto her face as she approached the cage.“How are you feeling today, Olivia?” she asked as she stepped inside.Olivia immed

  • The Luna They Buried    His First Love

Author’s POV Vance and Zelda lay on the bed, with Zelda’s head resting on his chest. However, her mind was far from peaceful. Her thoughts kept drifting back to what she had witnessed earlier, and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t get the image out of her head.Leah and the doctor. The two of them together were still unbelievable to her. What exactly was going on between them? And could it be the reason Leah had been acting so distant lately?Zelda bit her lower lip as she thought about it. Should she tell Vance what she had seen? She knew he deserved to know, but at the same time, she wasn’t sure how he would react. What if he didn’t believe her? Or worse, what if telling him caused problems she wasn’t prepared to deal with?“Are you okay?” Vance asked, noticing how restless she had been.Zelda quickly forced a smile and lifted her head from his chest. “I’m fine,” she replied, sitting up on the bed.Vance, unconvinced, sat up with her. "You've been tossing and turning all d

  • The Luna They Buried    Incoming Gift

Author’s POVThat was it.Zelda had watched Leah put on her act for days, apologizing to everyone and even earning herself the title of good Luna from some of the more ignorant pack members. But Leah offering her the Luna title was one thing Zelda never saw coming.“I don’t know what is going on with you, Leah, but I think you need to go back and have a good think about this,” Zelda said, studying her carefully.Leah smiled, looking completely sincere.“I have already thought it over,” she replied. “I was never supposed to be the Luna in the first place. I slipped into his bed, yes, but we eventually fell in love. And now, we are out of love, which means it was never meant to be.”Zelda simply stared at her.For a moment, she had no words. Not because she believed Leah, but because she was struggling to hold back the laughter building inside her.She knew Leah. She knew exactly what kind of person she was, and no amount of sweet smiles, apologies, or kind words could make Zelda believ

  • The Luna They Buried    SCHEMING LEAH

Zelda’s POV Those words never left my thoughts. I knew Vance had asked me if I was okay after I stood frozen for several minutes while they led Kiara away. I had muttered that I was fine, but hell no, I wasn’t. I did a whole lot that day just to get my mind off things. I tried reading, watching movies, talking to Mia, even helping around the pack, but nothing worked. Whenever I closed my eyes, those words came back to me. And worse, they now came with nightmares. Clear, vivid nightmares that felt so real that I would wake up covered in sweat, my heart pounding against my chest. One night, I had another one. This time, I could literally feel everything. The knives piercing through my skin. The unbearable pain. The blood. Then being thrown into a dark grave while I screamed and begged for help. And Kiara was standing there. She was laughing. Just watching me struggle while I cried for someone to save me. I let out a scream and jolted awake. Vance immediately woke

  • The Luna They Buried    The Fall Of Kiara

Author's POVThankfully, the drugs did work as expected. It was slower than Vance would have liked, but by the next day, there was already a noticeable improvement. The children had stopped itching as much, and their cries had reduced considerably. At least, they were finally getting some rest. But Vance still wasn’t satisfied. The fact that the treatment was working didn’t mean he had forgotten about the person responsible for all of this. If anything, he was even more determined to find them.He took Zelda’s advice and began his search quietly. On the surface, Vance looked completely absorbed in taking care of the sick pack members. But underneath it all, he was watching. Then he finally found them or even better found her. She had specifically stored reserves, and her movements were funny. "Bring me Kiara," he told the nearest guard.Meanwhile, Kiara was seated comfortably in the living room with her father to her left. Elder Jonathan was savoring the pack's misfortune, swirling h
