Alpha Kain's mistress asked me with fire in her eyes. She looked like she could tear me apart. She tried to attack the retreating men again while the medical team arrived and took the injured men away. Alina's Pov: I was just coming down to return the dishes I had used when I heard Alpha Kain aggressively commanding his generals. He didn't sound like he was angry at any of them though. Alina's Pov: They didn't tell me what happened to the women before me. All they told me was that he was never officially engaged to any of them and that I was his first legally wedded wife. But it didn't make me feel any better. I wanted to know what happened — if they left on their own or if he actually killed them as the rumor said.
