Chapter 18: The Hidden Mysteries

"I can't wait to have her in my arms again,"

I opened my eyes slowly as I heard family voices around me. I shut my eyes closed as the sun cast its ray into my eyes. I forced my eyes open as my eyes adjusted to the brightness of the room.

Where am I? I asked myself with a confused look. I met myself in a strange and unfamiliar room. It was spacious with not many items around it. It doesn't look like a room. The wall was painted blue.

"How are you?" I blinked my eyes as my gaze landed on Asher who was standing beside the bed.

"Asher," I called since I couldn't see my face. My vision was weak and blurry.

He sat down on the bed beside me and helped me sit properly. I rested on the backrest pillow behind me. I rubbed my eyes gently as my gaze landed on someone familiar.

It was Lucas. He had a cute and charming smile on his face. "How are you feeling, my lady?" He asked with a confused look on his face.

I flashed a smile at him and said. "I'm fine," I know
