Chapter Eleven— Jenny’s Care

Ivanna's POV

I woke up with a painful headache. It felt like my head was going to split. What was going on with me?

"Are you okay?" I heard someone ask. That voice seemed to be worried. "Are you awake?" The voice asked again.

I tried to open my eyes, but it was too heavy. I was awake, but I couldn’t open my eyes. Was I blind now?

"Are you okay, Ivanna?" My wolf, Moon, asked me.

Moon was the wolf the goddess blessed me with. She was too weak and timid. It felt like I didn't have a wolf. I always wished that was the case. How on earth would a person have a wolf that wouldn’t fight back her bullies? I hated the fact that I was weak, but I hated Moon the most for being weaker. She never even encouraged me. She didn’t talk to me. All she knew was to sleep and sleep all day.

I was alone in this misery when, in reality, she was supposed to be my companion. That hurts. A lot.
