Mother’s Joy.

“You don’t have to work, honey. Just sit and watch as I do all the work,” Ace said.

Ever since I got pregnant, Ace has been doing all the work. He hardly let me step out.

“I will be going to mother’s quarter today, Love,” I stated.

‘To do what?” He questioned.

“Nothing. I just don’t want to sit all day and do nothing.”

“I will stay beside you. You don’t have to stress yourself, darling. I will be right here when you need me.”

“You need to go to work. Everything is suffocating me. I need to go for a walk, please. I will stress myself out.”

He looked at me, shaking his head. What the hell is going on in that brain?

“Ivanna, why don’t you want me to keep you company? Why are you trying to push me away from you and the baby?”

“Easy love. I beg of you. Try to understand me.”

After going back and forth, he finally gave in.

“Walk slowly, love. I don’t want to see you fall,” he uttered. Gosh, is this what Jenny is passing through with her mate? Ace is treating me like a child.
