Their kisses deepened with every passing second. Just beneath the surface, their passion was simmering before it exploded. With slow curiosity, Georgina's fingers brushed across Marius' bare chest and following the lines of his muscles. Her touch slid lower and across the hard ridges of his abs. He tensed beneath her as if barely containing himself.

Marius growled low in his throat. It sounds half warning and half surrender.

His lips tore away from hers only to find the soft skin of her neck. He kissed down the column of her throat. It's slow at first. Then with a hunger that made her breath hitch. Her hands didn't stop moving. Georgina didn't hesitate for a second as they gripped his sides and pulling him closer.

His fingers found the first button of her shirt and hesitated there. It's brushing the fabric gently as if he's silently asking her.

"Georgina... Do you really want this?"

  • The Luna's Redemption   Drunken Kiss

Georgina Sinclair's POV:I don't know what time it is now. But my limbs begin to feel warm and dizzy and my cheeks flush. My lips feel a little too loose. The filter in my mind is flickering.I glance down at my half-full glass and blink."Did we finish the bottle already?" I asked in disbelief.Marius picks up the bottle and flips it over. One drop clings to the mouth and then plops into his glass."What a tragedy." he said with faux solemnity."Oops." I said with a soft giggle. "I did not realize I was so thirsty."He laughs. "You're a bit tipsy, Georgina."I turn my face to him and starts narrowing my eyes. "I am not.""You are. Your ears are pink.""I swear I used to last the whole night." I said while wobbling slightly when I stand up from the couch. "Ask anyone. I used to outdrink the boys during college nights."Marius chuckles. I can feel his eyes warm and amused while looking at me."Are you sure about that? Because I think you're about to fall—"Too late.My balance tips a

  • The Luna's Redemption   Wine Drinking

Georgina Sinclair's POV:Marius and I arrive at my house after the sun has already set. This was formerly my mother's house. We had spent the rest of the afternoon walking the village and checking in on those who have returned and are slowly rebuilding the remnants of what used to be the Dark Shadow Pack. I open the front door and quickly smells the scent of cinnamon and sandalwood inside. I am still getting strange vibes from my house. But I quickly shake my head and sees Marius moving through the kitchen like he's done it a hundred times. Maybe he does. After everything he's done to help not just for me but everyone, I am beginning to realize how easily he carved himself into this new chapter of my life."I still can't believe you are cooking." Marius teased with a faint grin while leaning against the counter as I check on the stew simmering in the pot.I raise a brow. "Are you doubting my abilities now?""Not at all. I'm just saying that you are kneeling by the stove like a dome

  • The Luna's Redemption   Pity

Georgina Sinclair's POV:The laughter and movement of our people fill the air like music. It's like something whole and living again. But just as I begin to believe in the peace of this moment, something inside me stiffens. It's faint at first. A shift in the wind. Then I halt mid-step while tugging Marius with me as my body goes rigid."What is it?" he asked. I inhale again. My senses don't lie. There is a scent carried by the breeze that is not native to this territory. It's not exactly unfamiliar but not welcome either. My eyes scan the trees past the clearing and toward the edge of the hill where some of our people tend to water collection and security patrols. They've gone quiet. Marius catches it too. I glance at him and see the crease forming between his brows. Then I hear some voices. There are not shouting or being aggressive. But it's tight and cautious. I turn quickly and head toward the source. My fingers are slipping free from Marius's hand as I lengthen my strides.By

  • The Luna's Redemption   Intertwined

Georgina Sinclair's POV:It's been a week.Seven quiet and strangely peaceful days since I ended the bond with Ryan. The divorce papers are moving faster than I ever imagined. Partly because of Marius pulled a few strings and handled the bureaucratic mess that came with it. When he handed me the first drafted documents, he didn’t say much. He just looked at me with those solid and steady eyes like he always does.I don't cry anymore. The first night was the worst. The way my body reacted to the severed bond was.. unnatural. Like tearing out something I wasn't aware had embedded so deeply into me. But it wasn't love. It was habit. A familiarity. A rhythm I danced to for years even if my heart never kept beat with it.Ryan and I were never in love. But we respected each other. At times, we laughed, shared dinners and built routines. There were moments where we looked like a real couple. But it was all surface. The kind of companionship that exists more out of expectation than desire.

  • The Luna's Redemption   Frustration

Marius Peddleton's POV:The living room is quiet now. Georgina finally went to bed after finishing her tea. I made sure she settled in before stepping away and needing space to breathe, to think and to feel. The night air enters in from the slightly open window. I am sitting on the window ledge and holding a cigarette between my fingers. I inhale and let the bitter smoke fill my lungs before exhaling quietly.I'm not even sure when I restarted this habit. I guess it's somewhere between sleepless nights and pointless meetings. The craving came with helplessness. "You know, that's your third one."Lydia's gentle voice breaks the silence. Her tone lined with a mix of affection and warning.I glance back and finding her wrapped in a light robe and her hair pinned up. She always notices more than she lets on."Do not count it, Lydia." I muttered as I flicked the ash onto a small tray on the side table. "I am just calming myself down."She silently clicks her tongue and moves closer to me.
