Balgaire POV

“Stand down.” I command out to my warriors as I step out of my car, my aura still forward from dealing with the dick on top of my gates.

“Alpha?”

“They are no threat, not yet anyway…” I call out to my fighters, surprised to find them congregated by the inner gate, weapons aimed at the other side of the borders.

My warriors are usually calm even in the strictest of battle formations, so what has spooked them to carry weapons.

I spot my beta in the near distance; with one whip of my

  • The Luna’s Return: Avenging her lost son   Chapter 95 – The retired beta

Calian POVThe email from Belgaire’s beta remains in front of me. Two documents open as I keep flickering between the two of them. One clearly states that he has performed a paternity test between Athan and I, the results coming back as an absolute match. The other document is a DNA test between Athan and Ame…also a match. How can Athan and Ame share the same DNA…how is that possible. I haven’t moved from my office, my mind block up as I deny all request to get in contact with me. I am trying to absorb the information in front of me, trying to make sense of it. Ame seemed so convincing that Garrett had wronged her, but then her wolf was clearly disturbed…how can I believe a word that has come out of her mouth. Especially when she has been lying to me from the first moment she stepped back into this pack. Her exterior now hostile, the complete opposite to the Ame that I married. Her coldness making the lie convincing enough…making me believe that it was just a coincidence that B

Ame POV “Stop, what are you doing.” I pull the half-gnawed seat belt off me now that the car has made it through the gate, opening the door to look at the guards secure the borders again. “Keeping you fucking safe.” Belgaire growls out, exiting his own side of the car as he moves around it to my side, leaning his arm against the top of my opened car door. “I don’t understand, why are there so many?” I gasp out at the sheer volume. I have never seen so many rogues congregated in one place at the same time. The ones inside the Savage Fangs are now fully integrated into the pack life, they’ll have scars for as long as they live but seeing the rawness of the rogues in the makeshift camp outside pulls at my heart. “I need to help them.” “This is different Ame, the ones that queue outside your door every morning have been thoroughly security checked. I can’t just let them inside, not until I follow procedure.” “There are injured children Belgaire, I can just go out and meet them…help

  • The Luna’s Return: Avenging her lost son   Chapter 93 - Returning to Savage Fangs

Ame POV Like strobe lighting, my vision kept flashing as I fought back on my wolf to regain control. She didn’t fully concede until my head was lolloping from side to side in the front passenger seat of Belgaire’s car, his hand pressed against my chest to hold me in place. As I slowly regain full consciousness, I look down to find my wolf has gnawed away at the seat belt to try and escape the car. Belgaire’s hand is painfully pressed against my chest with signs of newly formed scratches upon his arm. His thick alpha aura still lingers in the air, the atmosphere of the car almost suffocating even with the air conditioning blasting out. I very gently place my hand against his forearm, letting him know it was me. “Ame?” He looks to me with a sign of relief, but still, some mistrust in those eyes. “I’m okay…it’s me.” I sigh out to him, moving my hand to cup the side of his face. “Your wolf tried to make me believe that before.” “I promise you, it is only me.” “Prove it.”

  • The Luna’s Return: Avenging her lost son   Chapter 92 – A match

Belgaire POV Her words are left hanging in the air. She doesn’t mean it, I know she doesn’t…this is her wolf speaking, the revenge taking form. “What did you just say?” Calian however has taken immediate offence to it, his chest starts to puff out as his alpha adrenaline pumps throughout his blood stream. His hand is still pressed against her forehead as the scent of testosterone exudes out of him. “She’s delusional, it’s her wolf…” I shove his hand away from her, standing up and blocking her from him. Both of us squaring up to the other, challenging the other. “No, she meant that. I told you Calian that she was trouble from day one, I told you not to trust her. She made Athan have that allergic reaction to kill him.” Dessa shrieks out from behind him, her hand touching his shoulder as she curls around his large torso. “How fucking dare you Dessa, she wouldn’t harm a hair on Athan’s head.” I see red, taking a step forward towards the woman…the con artist, only for Calian t

  • The Luna’s Return: Avenging her lost son   Chapter 91 – Taking charge

Belgaire POV “Belgaire?” Ame quietly stirs in my arms, her wolf starting to recede…but I’ve fallen for her trickery before. Until I am certain Ame is back in full control then I will not be letting her out of my arms. “Shh Ame, I’ve got you, just try and rest.” I whisper out yet place my command behind it. “What’s going on.” “I’m taking you back home with me…” She starts to fight against my hold, her wolf now coming back forward. “No…I’m not done…” She growls out, her eyes darting open…glowing with purple. “Yes, you fucking are.” I seethe out back at her, increasing my alpha aura behind my command. There isn’t a part of Ame that I would want to hurt, not even her wolf side…but she is a risk to others when like this. Carrying her safely in my arms I charge towards the alpha house, where my car is waiting for me. I’m not letting her remain for another second in this place, it isn’t good for her. Since the moment her father died this place has been a curse for her. “Alpha

  • The Luna’s Return: Avenging her lost son   Chapter 90 – An alpha’s command

Calian POVI rush out of the alpha house, Belgaire by my side, as I use the pack bond to locate Ame. The frenetic energy coursing through the pack leads me to feel the fear at the centre of the sensation, a group congregated by the east border. “Hold her there!” I command out through the pack link, picking up pace and pushing my wolf back to prevent him from shifting. Arriving in fur form will only escalate this situation further...or so I thought. I come to a sudden halt, skidding on the muddy ground as warriors push in on Ame already in her wolf form as she tries to escape through the border fence. I’ve seen her wolf countless times, trained her wolf….but the purple tinge to her fur takes me by surprise and her eyes, they aren’t just glowing as before they are no illuminous. Like the moon itself glowing from her eyes. An electric blue trying to force its way out from the purple, an uncontrollable rage fighting from within. Blood is on her teeth as a warrior lies beneath her leg

Ame POV The moment I walk into the alpha house, I can feel memories trying to take control. It is different, designed definitely…I suppose his true luna has different tastes. I have mixed emotions as my heels sound out along the wooden floor of the hallway, this place had been my home…there wasn’t
