Isabeau's POV

Uh Oh.

My heart skips a beat, and worry creeps into my mind. I recall the strict instructions Aster had mentioned Stellan had decreed, forbidding anyone from entering his room at midnight.

Reluctantly, I summon the courage to speak the truth, my voice filled with a tinge of remorse.

"I... I did enter your room last night," I admit, my words coming out in a soft, hesitant tone. "I apologize, my King. It was wrong of me to disregard your instructions and invade your privacy."

A look of annoyance crosses his face, his brows furrowing with displeasure. His silence hangs heavy in the air, intensifying my sense of guilt. I know I have angered him, breached his trust.

Suddenly his eyes flare with an intense heat, his voice sharp with fury. "How dare you disobey my orders?" he seethes, his tone filled with a raw intensity. "Do you have any idea what you have done?"

Guilt floods my being as I realize the gravity of my actions. I hang my head, feeling the weight of his question.
