Damon and Darius arrived in South Korea after a ten-hour flight from California. They sat beside each other in the car that was driving them to the Alphas Academy, which was a ten-minute drive from the airport.

As the journey continued, the two brothers—who were seated beside each other—hadn’t said a word throughout their trip. They had been silent, looking away from each other, acting as though the other wasn’t even there.

A tired sigh left Damon’s lips as he closed his eyes and thought of Amara. He wondered if she had gotten his present, and if she would think it was from his brother, since he hadn’t indicated who sent it in the note. He thought about their moment in the garden and the kiss they had shared.

Another sigh left his lips as he remembered how he told her he didn’t hate her—how he never hated her—and he regretted it. He shouldn’t have said it, but the words came out uncontrollably.

A pang of pain hit his chest when he realized he would be away from her for five whole

  • The Luna they both Claimed    Coronation

Damon hadn't slept all night. He hadn't closed his eyes for even a second. Now seated on the couch with a glass of whiskey in his hand, he closed his eyes and thought of all that had happened the previous night. When Amara had stormed out of his room, everything inside him screamed to go after her, to hold her close and tell her the truth—why he had suddenly become cold toward her after their eighth birthday. His wolf howled loudly in his head, tormenting him. But Damon couldn't go after her. Instead, he stayed in his room, wallowing in pain. And drinking through the night. Sighing heavily, he weakly opened his eyes and glanced at the watch on his wrist. It was already 06:00 a.m., and his coronation was scheduled for 08:00 a.m. Yet he wasn't even close to getting ready. Damn it. He grunted, closing his eyes as he thought of Amara. If things had turned out the way they were suppo

  • The Luna they both Claimed    Accepting His Proposal

Amara furrowed her brow, help me how? she asked, confusion edged on her face. Darius took a deep breath and moved closer to her. His heart racing faster as he lifted his hand and wiped away a lingering tear on her face. Amara flinched at the touch, swallowing hard as she looked away. She couldn't understand why she felt so unsettled, why there was an unfamiliar tension between her and Darius. The usual playfulness he radiated was gone, replaced by something intense, something unexplainable. As Darius studied her face, his heart raced. He was scared and nervous about what he was about to propose. Inhaling deeply, Darius let go of Amara's wrist and shoved his hands into his pant pockets, wearing a hard look as he tried to mask his emotions. I have a plan Amara. He paused, gathering his courage, before continuing. I know you're in love with Damon. You love my brother, he said, watching as she swallowed hard and

  • The Luna they both Claimed    I can help You

Damon's hands clenched into fists at his sides as he fought the urge to reach out to her, to pull her into his arms and tell her the truth. But the promise he had made, the secret he had buried deep within himself, kept him silent. Amara shook her head, her tears falling freely on her cheeks. I've lived with this pain every single day, wondering why the boy I grew up with turned into someone who couldn't stand to look at me. I've carried that pain for so long, and all I want is to know why. Damon's chest tightened painfully at her words, and for a brief moment, he almost broke. He almost told her the truth. But then he thought of his brother, of the burden he had chosen to bear. And the walls around his heart hardened once more. You're wasting your time. Damon said coldly, turning his back on her. Amara, you and I? We were never meant to be together. We're from different backgrounds. I can't b

  • The Luna they both Claimed    Why Do You Hate Me

Amara took a deep breath, trying to keep her voice steady despite the turmoil raging inside her. I believe we need to talk, Damon, she said, her voice firm, though her wolf was howling relentlessly. Urging her to close the distance between them, to feel his touch. The mate bond was pulling her toward him, his intoxicating scent clouding her mind, but she fought against it and stayed rooted in place. Damon remained silent, his eyes locked on Amara. His heart pounded in his chest, his wolf growling, demanding he claim her—their mate. But Damon forced himself to stay calm, pushing down the urge. After a moment, he exhaled, composing himself. What is it? he asked, his voice cold and rough. Amara swallowed hard, her chest tightening at the iciness in his tone. It had been five years, and he still sounded like this. MATE, her wolf cried out in her mind, but Amara suppressed the urge and fo

  • The Luna they both Claimed    Promise

Damon's wolf growled angrily, while his eyes darkened at Darius’s words. He had just found out that Amara was still his mate, and here was Darius standing in front of him, demanding he remember his promises. Damon, you remember, right? Darius asked, raising a challenging brow at Damon. You agreed to let me have Amara. You agreed to let me have just the one thing I desire. You remember, right? Darius asked, narrowing his eyes. Damon glared at his brother, his fists clenched at his sides. Just tell him, Damon. His wolf urged. Tell him Amara is your mate. Maybe he'll finally let go of this obsession. Damon's jaw tightened as his wolf urged him to speak up, to tell Darius the truth about Amara being his mate. But before he could utter a word, Darius stepped forward, his voice rising with desperation. You have everything, Damon, he hissed, his voice raw. You alway

  • The Luna they both Claimed    A Different Darius

Damon and Amara turned towards the voice and saw Darius standing a few feet away. Amara's eyes widened at the sight of him. Like Damon, Darius had changed drastically. His facial features sharper, more defined. His once jet black hair was now dyed the same colour as hers, though still trimmed short. His cool sea-blue eyes locked onto hers, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. He stood tall, his boyish frame replaced by a solid, muscular build. His sleek, all-black clothes emphasized the sharpness of his features and the strength he now carried. Amara's heart raced, a mix of shock and something else she couldn't quite place. She remembered him from years ago, but now he seemed like an entirely different person. The resemblance to Damon was there, but Darius had an edge that sent a shiver down her spine. Surprised to see me? Darius’s voice was deep, smooth, almost teasing. B
